Electricity is beneficial to our everyday life, and without it, we cannot survive. However, if we don’t know how to use them properly, it can injure us or even worse, kill us.

  2. 2. The misuse of electricity can cause us electricshock, electrical hazard, electrical fire and anyother damages and injuries. It is essential that weinstall protective devices like fuse and circuitbreakers, safety switches, ground circuit faultinterrupters, etc. But this is not enough if weourselves do not observe electrical safety.
  3. 3. Water SafetyWater, whether sea of fresh water, makes a goodelectric conductor. Never touch switches or wiresif you are wet. Moreover, keep bathroom andkitchen appliances away for filled sinks or tubsand keep your children away from playingelectricity with water. In areas where there ismoisture and water like the kitchen, bathroomand laundry area, have an expert electricianinstall a ground circuit fault interrupter.

Every time you connect your caravan to the power supply, make sure you have your safety switch checked.

Outdoor Electrical SafetyYou should take extra precautions when using anyequipment or appliances outdoor or in any damp ormoist environment.- Inspect your equipment or appliance before you plug them for use outside. Check out for any damage, loose or missing parts.- Do not use any electrical appliance or equipment in wet conditions unless they are designed to be used in such a condition.
  9. 9. - Always use a safety switch and isolating transformer.- Keep children and pets away when you operate a lawn mower or any electrical equipment.- Keep away all appliances, equipment and tools after use and store them in a secured place.- Don’t go bare feet or wear sandals or slippers when using electric equipment outdoor.
