3. Healing miracle
Healing miracle is one that is accomplished by
Gods work simply by prayer, faith and wisdom
with no medical intervention. Faith plays a big
part in healing miracles.
4. Seeing that Jesus’ physical being is not here
and we cannot attain experiences of the
healing of a man with just Jesus’ spittle or
just from the touching of the hem of his
garment. It cannot be the same. We as
humans can perform miracles, but in Jesus’
name (Jn14:12). The key in doing these
healing ministries is having faith. There are
healing services that can be done to help
with the counteracting of ailments whether it
be physical or emotional or mental.
5.
6. There are episodes that took place where
just by having faith, a person can be healed
completely. Instances where people were
slain by the Holy Spirit and they lost any sort
of ailment they had presently. The healing
that takes place today combats many things.
For example, terminal illnesses, paralysis of
any sort, mental illnesses or even little things
like a headache or a tummy ache.
8. Modern miracle ministries
Morden miracle ministries-
A miracle done in todays church are through the believers of God.
A healing ministry however is a spiritually based practice of
effecting physical, mental, or emotional healing in
another. An individual with a healing ministry may offer his
services in the context of a particular set of
religious beliefs or a religious organization. Other healing
ministries are far more general in scope and
may include the use of various types of alternative medicine or
bodywork that has a spiritual component
or underlying philosophy.
9. Methods of Jesus in Healing Miracles vs. Modern Miracles
Ministries.
10. • Jesus cured the nobleman's son (John 4:46-47).
Once more he visited Cana in Galilee, where he had turned the
water into wine. And there was a certain royal official whose son
lay sick at Capernaum.47 When this man heard that Jesus had
arrived in Galilee from Judea, he went to him and begged him to
come and heal his son, who was close to death.
• Jesus cured Peter's mother-in-law of a fever (Mark
1:30-31).
Simon’s mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they
immediately told Jesus about her. 31 So he went to her, took her
hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on
them.
11. • Jesus healed a leper (Mark 1:40-45).
A man with leprosy[a] came to him and begged him on his knees,
“If you are willing, you can make me clean.”
Jesus was indignant.[b] He reached out his hand and touched the
man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” 42 Immediately the
leprosy left him and he was cleansed.
Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning: 44 “See that
you don’t tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest
and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing,
as a testimony to them.” 45 Instead he went out and began to talk
freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter
a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people
still came to him from everywhere.
12. • Jesus healed the centurion's servant (Matthew
8:5-13).
When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help.
6 “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.”
Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”
The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof.
But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I myself am a man
under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and
that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly
I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.I say to you
that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the
feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the subjects
of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be
weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
13.
14. • Jesus raised the widow's son from the dead (Luke
7:11-18).
Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a
large crowd went along with him. As he approached the town gate, a dead
person was being carried out—the only son of his mother, and she was a
widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. When the Lord
saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, “Don’t cry.”
Then he went up and touched the bier they were carrying him on, and the
bearers stood still. He said, “Young man, I say to you, get up!” The dead
man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother.
They were all filled with awe and praised God. “A great prophet has
appeared among us,” they said. “God has come to help his people.” This
news about Jesus spread throughout Judea and the surrounding country.
15. • Jesus cured two demoniacs (Matthew 8:28-34).
When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes,[a] two demon-
possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no
one could pass that way. “What do you want with us, Son of God?” they
shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?”
Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding. The demons begged
Jesus, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”
He said to them, “Go!” So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole
herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water. Those
tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what
had happened to the demon-possessed men. Then the whole town went out to
meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their
region.
