I created this show shortly after 911 happened. I edited this week. The comments are exactly how I felt.

  • I am against all forms of violence. It is especially terrible when innocent people suffer. Images towers in flames I will never forget. That does not happen again!

  • The Silent Night… 911

    You say you’ll never forget where you were the news;
    On September 11th 2001
    Neither will I
I was on the 110th floor smoke filled room
A man who called his wife to say goodbye…
I held his finger steady as he dialed,
    I gave Him the peace to say;
Honey, I’m not going to make it but its okay I’m ready to go.

I was with his wife when he called as she fed for breakfast to their Children.
I held her up as she tried to understand his words,
and as she realized that he was not coming home that night.
I was in the stairwell of the 23rd floor
When a woman cried out for me for help…
I have been knocking on the door of your heart for 50 years
I said of course I’ll show you the way home
    Only BELIEVE in Me now.
I was at the base of the building when the priest ministered
to the injured and devastated souls.
I took him home to tend his flock in heaven.
He heard my voice and answered.
I was on all four of those planes,
In every seat with every prayer,
I was with the crew as they were overtaken,
I was in the very hearts of the believers their,
Comforting and assuring them that their faith had saved them
I was in Texas, Kansas, London…

I was standing next to you when you heard the terrible news
    Did you sense me?
I want you to know that I saw every face.
I knew every name, though not all know me
Some met me for the first time on the 86th floor
Some sought me with their last breath,
Some couldn’t hear me calling to them through the smoke and flames.
Come to me this way take my hand.
Some chose for the final time to ignore me
    But I was there.
I deed not place you in the tower that day
    You may not know why
    But I do
However if you were there in that explosive moment in time
Would you have reached for me…?
September 11th, 2001 was not the end of the journey for you.
But someday your journey will end
And I’ll be their for you as well
Seek me now while I may be found.
Then at any moment you know you are ready to go
I will be at the stairwell of your final moments

  • Dear Cece, I’m glad you’ve re-posted Avalok's comment for several reasons. I’ll only name three: 1- Because United States really gave many lessons of FREEDOM and DEMOCRACY to the world since their birth; 2- Because it shows the blindness and unilateral view of so many people around the world, the same kind of view and conduct that led to wars, killing and violence along thousands of years of the universal History; 3- Because I felt his inadequate and violent reaction to your 'personal thoughts' was also (in part) a reaction against my comment and my sympathy for your feelings. Forgive me, Cece, if I caused you any pain with my comment.
May “peace and love” be with you… and with Avalok. I hope that one day he will really understand in his inner Ghandi (he quoted) and live like him, full of love and not devoured by hate.

911 My Personal Thoughts (September 11,2001)

  1. 1. 911 My Personal Thoughts
2. 2. In this moment of airless shock
3. 3. when hot tears sting disbelieving eyes,
4. 4. the only thing I can find to say,
5. 5. the only words that seem to fit,
6. 6. must be addressed to the author of this suffering.
7. 7. You monster.
8. 8. You beast.
9. 9. You unspeakable ill conceived person of origin
10. 10. What lesson did you hope to teach us by your coward’s attack on our World Trade Center,
11. 11. our Pentagon,
12. 12. us?
13. 13. PRESENTATION BY ED MILLER
What was it you hoped we would learn?
14. 14. Whatever it was, please know that you failed.
15. 15. Did you want us to respect your cause?
16. 16. You just damned your cause.
17. 17. Did you want to make us fear?
18. 18. You just strengthen our resolve.
19. 19. Did you want to tear us apart?
20. 20. You just brought us together.
21. 21. Let me tell you about my people.
22. 22. We are a enormous and quarrelsome family,
23. 23. a family divided by racial, social, political and class division,
24. 24. but a family nonetheless.
25. 25. We are fundamentally decent . . .
peace-loving and compassionate.
26. 26. We struggle to know the right thing and to do it.
27. 27. and the overwhelming majority of us, are people
of faith . . .
believers in a just and loving God.
28. 28. Some people -- you, perhaps -- think
that any or all of this makes us weak.
29. 29. You’re mistaken. We are not weak.
30. 30. Indeed, we are strong in ways that
cannot be measured by arsenals.
31. 31. Yes, we’re in pain now. . .
We are in mourning and we are in shock.
32. 32. We’re still coming to grips with the
unrealityof the awful thing you did.
33. 33. Both in terms of
the awful scope of
your ambition . . .
and the probable final death toll,
34. 34. your attacks are likely to go down as the worst acts of terrorism . . .
in the history of the United States, and, probably, the world.
35. 35. You’ve bloodied us
like we have never been bloodied
before.
36. 36. But there is a vast difference between
making us bloody and making us fall.
37. 37. This is the lesson Japan was taught to its bitter sorrow the last time anyone hit us this hard,
38. 38. the last time anyone brought us such
abrupt and monumental pain.
39. 39. When roused, we are righteous in our outrage, terrible in our force.
40. 40. When provoked by this level of barbarism . . .
We will bear any suffering,
41. 41. pay any cost . . .
go to any length,
42. 42. in the pursuit of justice.
43. 43. I tell you this without fear of contradiction. . .
I know my people, as you, I think, do not.
44. 44. What I know reassures me. . .
It also causes me to tremble with dread of the future.
45. 45. We’ll go forward from this moment ,
sobered, chastened, sad
46. 46. But
determined,
too.
Unimaginably determined.
47. 47. As Americans we will weep . . .
as Americans we will mourn,
48. 48. and as Americans, we will rise in defense
of all that we cherish.
49. 49. So I ask again:
What was it you hoped to teach us?
50. 50. It has occurred to me that maybe you just wanted us to know the depths of your hatred.
51. 51. If that’s the case, consider the message received.
52. 52. And take this message in exchange:
53. 53. You don’t know my people.
54. 54. You don’t know what we’re capable of.
55. 55. You don’t know
what you just started.
56. 56. You will burn in HELL Osama Bin Laden
for your barbaric acts of terrorism
