Ejiogbe: Balancing Our Forces as Afrikan and New (Nu) Afrikan Women by RBG RAW SISTA ATYEB BA ATUM RE

  1. 1. Ejiogbe: Balancing Our Forces as Afrikan and New (Nu) Afrikan Women by RBG RAW (RevolutionaryAfrikanWomen) Atyeb Ba Atum ReNew (Nu) Beginnings (Ice breaker video)The message on the forehead of the beautiful Yoruba female is the Ancient ElderEjiogbe. To Us Afrikan and New(Nu) Afrikan women it is clearly a message, and a sign post thatspeaks to Us to remember how we can change the courses of OPPRESSIVE HIS-STORIES in a more positive, and influential permanent manner-ONCE AGAIN.Traditionally it is a masculine force of energy, the initiating spark of life and is the fatherof the 256 Yoruba Odus. It is the father because it impregnates the divine motherprinciple (Oyekumeji) within the Ifa Divination System. Thus, the masculine-impregnating principle (MIP) should be overstood as the assertive and aggressive1
  2. 2. principle willing to give up its life in order to awaken an inactive (yearning to becomeactive) principle of life so that life will CONTINUE. The bible should read that God soloved this world that he gave his only begotten Sun, and we in turn should know thatwhat is being spoken of here is the merger of the only ejaculated spermatozoa (seminalfluid) that survived the journey and battle to get inside the female egg (ovum) to beginthe fertilization process of a soon to be born NU life form made in their images, andlikenesses. Likewise the feminine-submissive principle (FSP) should be overstood asthe cooperative and complying principle that overstands the necessary reasons forplacing herself in the willing fertile, side by side (Co-Regent) position (s) with the MIP inorder to ensure that life will continue (cohesive forces of life). All 256 Odus are patterns of divine messages designed to make us aware of our divineselves and the “OPPRESSIVE FORCES” as well hidden within our own complexnatures, and what remedies are potential antidotes to rid our beings of these parasiticbehaviorisms. Many of us probably own this Yoruba wall plague but do not know or even understandthe significance of the two lines seemingly craved into her forehead (actually in the areaof her third eye-pineal gland). My quest is only an attempt to help us as women understand how this odu (ancientelder) or living energy can be used to help initiate, guide, and balance the two forces ofour own RNA/DNA from which derives our personalities and characteristics; literally theencoding of our celestial and terrestrial ancestors.ANDROGYNY PAR EXCELLENCEThe Yoruba overstand the things happening in one’s life as being associated withdarkness, light, heaven, earth, feminine, masculine, positive and negative energies(forces/elements-living organisms that express themselves both “Above and Below”, inNature and in our individual lives). They also factor in the directions from whichenergies can flow towards and/or away from an individual. Often times we ourselveswhen something happens in our lives that we didn’t foresee we ask ourselves, “Nowwhere did this come from?”, which indicates that we want to know from which directionthat a decision made caused us to commit to certain actions that determined a particulardirection or course in which our lives then head in.Eji means two. The markings are identical, balanced forces that are on the right and leftside of her forehead (the merger of the two udjats into one). Remember “ogbe” is amasculine energy (light) that generally suggests new beginnings and when seen in thismanner it appears on both the right and left side of the ‘opon Ifa’ which is the diviningtray of the Yoruba (the calabash or sphere of life). It is also the first major odu in thefixed order of the Ifa Divination System.2
  3. 3. When this odu appears in a divination it speaks of spiritual awakenings, sacrifices, light, peace of mind, victory over one’s enemies, long life as well as the general welfare of theindividual that it is divined for as being good. This is a good sign. It may also mean thatprosperity will be a part of that individual’s life if that is what they are seeking. That is just one of the potential meanings of this major and important odu within the IfaDivination System. Now, how do we as women internalize this odu in order to bring about an identicalbalance of both our feminine and masculine natures? The very suggestion of two forces identical in nature being balanced in the EgiptianSystem (which is also Afrikan) relates to the Nazdurt (Netert) Ma’at.Balancing Our Ori-Our HeadBalancing our dualistic natures is the key. Getting them to complement each other isalways an ongoing task. However, it is one that must be pursued if we are to assist inreturning our planet to a balanced state of being. It’s all in our heads. Balancing the leftand right hemispheres of our brains is what it’s really all about. The ongoing task isgetting our minds both the subconscious and the conscious self to engage in assistingus to pursue, and complete our highest endeavors of good for all of humanity to benefitfrom. This is what Afrika is still known for doing today. The benefits are its limitlessresources. Resources can be depleted. We deplete our resources as Afrikan and New(nu) Afrikan women when we spread ourselves too thin. Our minds must focus on thecompletion of every project we initiate for the greatest good and general welfare of ourNation first, knowing that the rest of humanity will surely benefit from our good works.3
  4. 4. Choosing Sides-The Spiritual Head vs. The Physical HeadThe left side is feminine, spiritual and emotional while the right side is masculine, linearand/or temporal. East meets West. Light (right) meets Darkness (feminine). Heaven ismasculine (positive) and Earth is feminine (negative--remember this is the Ifa Systemand I am sure matrilineal cultures would probably refute this). Water (feminine) isdarkness and Fire (masculine) is light. Here I am describing the opon Ifa and theYoruba macro and micro-cosmic perception with heaven (North) being the location of“celestial spirits” and the earth (South) being the location of “terrestrial spirits.” As it isAbove so it is Below of course an Egiptian saying. What this simply suggests is that we are by nature androgynous, ‘ethereal’ beings in theflesh and what we are dealing with are the dualistic natures of ‘feminine/masculineEtheric systems i.e. HEADS’ and these systems deals with one’s consciousness. Therefore the knowledge of Self is Essential. We also need correct knowledge orawareness of what is around us because that is factored into both areas of oursubconscious self (spiritual self) and the conscious self (emotional self). If both of thespiritual self and the emotional self are fed the wrong information over a period of timethen chaos and disorder, stagnation and decay will subsequently mislead one off oftheir intended path in life. This is what slavery has done to Afrikans and does to anycivilization once placed into bondage. It saturates them with false information(confusing the HEADS) about their environment and how they were related to thatenvironment, robbing them of all knowledge of self worth and the value of theirrelationship to their environment that subsequently makes them easier to enslave. In order to be in a state of “EJIOGBE”, every level of our consciousness must mirroreach other identically. I will use the word identically instead of perfectly becauseperfection is a state of one’s own declaration that they “ACCEPT” the finality of aparticular thing as in requiring no further improvements. So, what we Afrikan and New (Nu) Afrikan Women must do is to refrain from becomingtoo excessive in our behaviors towards ourselves, men, and children and within ourcommunities. By this it is meant that we must exercise every level of our ‘COMMONSENSE’ to overcome the obstacles and temptations that face us as we seek trueliberation for ourselves, families, communities, states, countries and nation. Before wereact to anything let us first ask ourselves this question, “Which Head am I choosingsides with? How can I train my Heads to agree peacefully?”In this fashion or manner we will be looked upon as being ‘WOMEN OF SOBRIETY.’4
  5. 5. 360 DEGREES OF POWER (SISTAH SOLJAHz)  We must be acutely aware of our strengths and our weaknesses.  We must strive not to be overly feminine in our natures so that we aren’t lead into various states of dependency upon the outer masculine principle of ourselves (our black men) which the European Slavery System has but all together done their best to destroy our black men’s dependability, and creditability making it very hard for healthy black female and male relationships to exist. This has been done so that the Afrikan and New (Nu) Afrikan women and their offspring are made vulnerable to all foreign invasions seeking to recreate themselves within the Afrikan genes to ensure themselves the survival of their Nationalities even if it means procreating hybrid reflections of them.  We must be able to continue to do for ourselves alongside of our black men.  We must be able to defend ourselves in the absence of our black men.  We must always take advantage of every opportunity to educate and re-educate ourselves spiritually, politically and socially.  We must value maintaining a sense of peace of mind when having to make what appears to be very challenging decisions.  Our concerns of good and general welfare for others must include the good and general welfare of ourselves as Afrikan and New (Nu) Afrikan women first because without Us the rest of life would become non-essential to life itself here on this planet being that WE ARE THE MOTHERS OF ALL HUMAN LIFE existing today.  We must guard our health like a lioness guards her cubs to ensure the potentials of living a long life so that we can be living road maps for our children to follow, and teach them to value the pathways of Realization of Self; and show them ways of how to best safe guard it.  We must be industrious, and prosperous minded Afrikan and New (Nu) Afrikan Women who overstand keenly the importance of contributing to the economic welfare of our homes and governments by utilizing those of us who have natural skills for Leadership, Entrepreneurial skills, Philanthropists skills and all other5
  6. 6. such useful and noble skills that would sustain the longevity of our Afrikan civilizations.  We must possess the inner wherewithal to be ready to make the necessary sacrifices needed to further our cause (s) for true liberation of the both the Afrikan and the New (Nu) Afrikan Nation.  We must complete what we start before embarking upon new projects.  We must be wise enough to seek the appropriate and proven consul of our Elders within our own spiritual, civil and health systems within our own communities.  We must move beyond “Blind Faith” and just believing in things because someone who claims to be spiritual says so. Instead, we must be diligent in testing the methods of any spiritual and civil system that when first practiced ceaselessly is done in the frame of mind of believing that is expected to transform our minds into a state of knowing once those methods prove that certain results will become cognitive. Try the spirit (s) to see if they are partners with the Supreme All as manifested as divine principles that will increase life more abundantly in a good manner.  We must be knowledgeable and prepared to do the necessary rituals to ward off misfortune from ourselves, families and Nation.Revolutionary Afrikan Women must overstand that we are using the masculine Ethericsystem or MIP (spirit-force and/or HAR-monal system) subconsciously/consciouslywhen we are infusing (impregnating) our ideas of self-hood or FSP into society (ovum)by injecting (ejaculating) our own thoughts (spermatozoa) and words into anyenvironment that is proving to be pedagogically oppressive in any manner.Oppressive societies in this form are the ovum. The Rulers of Oppression are in thisform are also using the Androgynous principle that carries the seed (limitlesspotentialities), fertilizes it so that it continues to conform to the strategic shape shiftingconstructs of oppression (enslaving information/techniques). Therefore, their societiesact as the ovum fighting to kill off all possibilities of the fertilization of true liberationembryonically.Har or Haru is the Egiptian Deity that symbolizes the rising sun and represents themasculine (fire) light principle that can be related to as the Yoruba principle known as“Ogbe.”Our Har-mones are internal reactions set in motion based on external stimuli. Think ofthem as inner-g’s, Ancient Elders in the forms of Orishas/Nazduru-living organisms inmotion (certain directions . . . emotion=energies in motion) designed to assist us intovarious “Actionary” methods of responding to our diverse environmental conditions.Responding here could be played upon as meaning “re-spawning” as in reproducingwhat we see repetitiously over any extended period of time—TRAINED and/orPROGRAMMED BEHAVORS.*Mass Control: Engineering Human Consciousness by Jim Keith*6
  7. 7. Simply put the odu Ejiogbe (Ancient Elder) teaches us as Afrikan and New (Nu) AfrikanWomen to overstand that our essential role always is to demonstrate how making thenecessary sacrifices in life when incorporating our own inner knowing and traditionalspiritual systems can, and will provide us with opportunities to live peacefully withourselves, our black men and children, and other nations willing to do the samedesigned to attract good fortune into every aspect of our feminine lives. This is the hidden and real magnetizing beauty of this Yoruba Female who beckons usto return to the proven benefits of our own ANCIENT AFRIKAN ANCESTRALSYSTEMS: THE TRUE BUILDING BLOCKS OF ETERNAL LIFE. RAW B Revolutionary G Afrikan Women “Egungun, e jo fun wa Ase Imo Ire” Ancestors, please give us wisdom and knowledge7
