  15. 15. Best Practices & Lessons Learned  Provide for the needs of your major target market. In our case, that is patrons over the age of 50.  Patience and flexibility are critical skills for the onsite trainer. Older learners need to repeat tasks more often & have written instructions.  Community awareness is critical to your success. Be visible at events & gatherings. Establish a rapport with anchor businesses.  Be ready to respond to events that create a new core group of learners needing to bridge the digital divide.
