  3. 3. What is FARM TOURISM? • It involves any agricultural based activity that brings visitors to a farm
  4. 4. What is FARM TOURISM? • Visitors have a specific interest to meet farmers and to know how their food is produced
  5. 5. What is FARM TOURISM? • Visitors sometimes want to be actively involved in farming (milking a cow, picking/harvesting fruits)
  6. 6. • For farmers, it is regarded as the earliest maturing crop and harvestable all season. • Income is generated from entrance fees, food, accommodation, sales of farm produce, farm activities and attractions. What is FARM TOURISM?
  7. 7. • An avenue to bring economic justice and financial empowerment to the marginalized sector of the society – OUR FARMERS! WHAT IS FARM TOURISM?
