About
Trained in Medicine with a PhD in Information Systems I am focused in clinical information modelling and software development using the openEHR formalism which is a complete set of engineering specifications for electronic health records (EHR). Being an active member and contributor of openEHR my current research seeks to improve software maintainability and enable interoperability by tackling the complexity and changeability of health information using computable models – called Archetypes.
Having significant experience in eHealth various roles as a developer, consultant, entrepreneur and academic in past life, I'm really passionate about ‘getting information right’.
