I am applying for the position as an Early Childhood Educator base on the job posting I
found on the Service Canada website.
I am currently a student at Centennial College and will be graduating in June, 2013,
where I will be receiving my diploma as an Early Childhood educator. Upon graduating
from Centennial College I am a registered member of the Association of Early
Childhood Educators of Ontario (AECEO) and the Ontario Coalition for Better Child
Care (OCBCC) I will be a registered member of the College of the ECE upon
graduation. I am a dedicated and hard working person with nine months experience
working with children ages newborn to 5 years. I enjoy working with children creating
developmentally appropriate activities which are created based on observing children to
find out what their interests are. I have a very friendly and outgoing personality and
enjoy working in a team.
I have an updated medical check including tuberculosis test, first aid certificate, cleared
police reference check and my immunization records. I am aware that it’s very
important for children to be in a safe environment at all times. Proper guidance
strategies are very important for the growth and development of children. I am very
excited and would very much like to join the team at your childcare centre.
