APPLICATION EFFICIENCY Respiratory related conditions in children Results of Frolov’s technique application : Restoration of bronchus drainage function in 68,7% of patients with bronchial asthma after 5-6 session (in case of bronchitis – on 2 nd  -3 rd  day).  Indicators (FVC, FEV1 and MEF25, MEF50 and MEF75) were increased by 30-45%.  Elimination of autonomic dysfunction in more then 67,5% cases.  Breathing exercises cause favorable effect on psycho-emotional state of children with respiratory organs diseases. Improvements were seen already on 6 th  session.
APPLICATION EFFICIENCY Vegetative-vascular dystonia in children  Irritability decrease, performance incoordination ,  improvement of sleep.  High blood pressure is reduced after 4 th  -5 th  session.  High blood pressure is reduced in 75% of children with vegetative-vascular dystonia of hypotonic type by the end of the course . Normalization of vascular and bronchus tone, headache relief.  Reduce of “vegetative” complaints.  Blood pressure and heart rate stabilization on physiological level, elimination of vegetative dysfunction .
Example of Stepan Permyakov, Novosibirsk. Year of birth 2004   At the age of 1 year old Stepan was diagnosed with obstructive bronchitis, at the age of 3 – with asthma, moderately severe .  He started his trainings with Frolov’s device at the age of 4. In a month his asthma attacks stopped completely, his parents never had to call ambulance again and Stepan wasn’t put in a hospital since then. In 4 months he stopped taking medications.  At the age of 6 Stepan started judo classes and swimming.  Currently the boy is healthy and goes to school.

Evaluation of the Impact of breathing training with the Frolov’s device with the use of  G as Discharge Visualization Technique   1.  Captura 1 – before the training ,  after 3 hour choir rehearsal. 2.  Captura  2 –  after 20 minute of  first  training with the device – the overall area of luminescence increased (from 11287 to 21646), symmetry has also increased (from 64% to 88%).

Asya Vlasova, 30 years old, Tolyatti, Russia   Asya had chronic bronchitis, pleuritis, developed breathing problems, during physical exercises experienced heart pains, fast heartbeat and dizziness.  Breathing trainings with the Frolov’s device helped get rid of these problems and now Asya is doing yoga and can easily do the hardest asanas.

RESPIRATORY TRAINING FOR SPORTSMEN Study done in Russian State University of Physical Education 32  sportsmen have been training with the Frolov’s device for 20 minutes every day during 2 weeks.  In two weeks there was a study of their external respiration function (ERF). There was growth of all parameters especially vital capacity – by 20%, forced exhalation volume 1 – by 25%, momentum volume flow 25 – by 15%, momentum volume flow 50 – by 20%, momentum volume flow 75 – by 20%.  It was recognized that, due to reflexogenic system of the respiratory trainings with the device, the automatism, which prevents the exertions exceeding the physiological standards, appears.  This training method also allows a person to be in a state of increased endurance.

APPLICATION EFFICIENCY Respiratory related conditions in children Results of Frolov’s technique application : Restoration of bronchus drainage function in 68,7% of patients with bronchial asthma after 5-6 session (in case of bronchitis – on 2 nd -3 rd day). Indicators (FVC, FEV1 and MEF25, MEF50 and MEF75) were increased by 30-45%. Elimination of autonomic dysfunction in more then 67,5% cases. Breathing exercises cause favorable effect on psycho-emotional state of children with respiratory organs diseases. Improvements were seen already on 6 th session.
  • 18. APPLICATION EFFICIENCY Vegetative-vascular dystonia in children Irritability decrease, performance incoordination , improvement of sleep. High blood pressure is reduced after 4 th -5 th session. High blood pressure is reduced in 75% of children with vegetative-vascular dystonia of hypotonic type by the end of the course . Normalization of vascular and bronchus tone, headache relief. Reduce of “vegetative” complaints. Blood pressure and heart rate stabilization on physiological level, elimination of vegetative dysfunction .
  • 19. Example of Stepan Permyakov, Novosibirsk. Year of birth 2004 At the age of 1 year old Stepan was diagnosed with obstructive bronchitis, at the age of 3 – with asthma, moderately severe . He started his trainings with Frolov’s device at the age of 4. In a month his asthma attacks stopped completely, his parents never had to call ambulance again and Stepan wasn’t put in a hospital since then. In 4 months he stopped taking medications. At the age of 6 Stepan started judo classes and swimming. Currently the boy is healthy and goes to school.

Captura 2 – after 20 minute of first training with the device – the overall area of luminescence increased (from 11287 to 21646), symmetry has also increased (from 64% to 88%).

RESPIRATORY TRAINING FOR SPORTSMEN Study done in Russian State University of Physical Education 32 sportsmen have been training with the Frolov’s device for 20 minutes every day during 2 weeks. In two weeks there was a study of their external respiration function (ERF). There was growth of all parameters especially vital capacity – by 20%, forced exhalation volume 1 – by 25%, momentum volume flow 25 – by 15%, momentum volume flow 50 – by 20%, momentum volume flow 75 – by 20%. It was recognized that, due to reflexogenic system of the respiratory trainings with the device, the automatism, which prevents the exertions exceeding the physiological standards, appears. This training method also allows a person to be in a state of increased endurance.

  1. Principle of operation. Read the text on the slide, draw special attention to the fact that abdominal breathing should be done with extended exhalation 30-40 seconds. During exhalation the diaphragm is relaxed, breathing is rare, for example, if duration of respiratory act (DRA) is 10 seconds, the frequency of breathing is 6 breaths a minute, if DRA is 20 seconds, then frequency of breathing is 3 breaths per minute).
  2. When performing breathing exercises with the Frolov’s device the following factors effect the body – read the text from the slide. Then – as a result, a nonspecific adaptive process is being developed which reveals both – effects on breathing function and general effects (that are described in slides 14, 15, 16)
  3. For example, people with bronchial asthma have their gaseous exchange and lung ventilation greatly improved. After 1 months’ time we could state a reliable positive dynamics of speed indicants on the computer analysis of the &amp;quot;flow-volume&amp;quot; coil, elimination of pulmonary hyperinflation (RV-residual volume) reached the normal and conditionally normal values 117,2 + 7,1%). The mentioned favorable changes in pulmonary ventilation accounted for statistically meaningful positive dynamics of gas exchange in the lungs, which was manifested in Tf СО st rise, the latter being an evidence of ventilation and blood flow ratio improvement in various portions of the lungs.

Against the background of the treatment performed by the main group patients a statistically meaningful reduction of secondary lipoid peroxide oxidation products was noted, which resulted in increase of the indicant of the functional anti-oxidation supply of the body (FAS). Anti-inflammatory functioning, realized through the free radical lipoid oxidation reduction as a result of the FRTD device’s hypercapnic effect, thus calling forth the decrease in respiratory tracts’ hyper-activity and speeding up the clinical remission achievment. secondary lipoid peroxide oxidation products - lipid peroxidation – lipids oxidation under the influence of free radicals (active forms of oxygen) . The process of free radical peroxidation of lipids can be divided into 3 stages: 1) oxygen initiation (oxygen stage); 2) formation of free radicals of organic and non-organic substances (free radicals stage); 3) lipoid peroxide formation (peroxide stage). Malondialdehyde (MDA) is one of the products of lipoid peroxidation. It’s content shows the intensity of lipids oxidation processes. Increase of MDA concentration means enhancement of lipids peroxidation and breach of antioxidant defense.   Regulation of free radicals production is done by physiological antioxidant system. Antioxidant system stands against harmful effect of free radicals that are constantly been produced in the human’s body. Antioxidant defense is aimed against all types of radicals formed in the body. In normal conditions there is a balance in the body between the speed of lipoid peroxidation and activity of antioxidant system. The system “lipoid peroxidation – antioxidants are normal” is well balanced and works at the principle of feedback. Stable content of natural antioxidants is one of the main indicators of normal homeostasis. In pathologic conditions there is a major and prolonged activation of lipoid peroxidation which leads to weakness or breach of natural antioxidant systems. For evaluation of human’s body antioxidant system such indicator as AOA (antioxidant activity) of blood plasma is used. АОА of blood plasma is an integral indicator that reflects it’s ability to prevent the development of free radical reactions. functional anti-oxidation supply – shows capacities of antioxidant system in maintaining the free radicals oxidation at the level necessary for normal oxidation processes and in providing body’s resistance to extreme environmental factors.   Breathing training with the Frolov’s device is accompanied with hypercapnic effect. Hypercapnic factor (rebreathing + additional respiratory space). This leads to decrease of free radical lipoid oxidation, decrease of airways hyper reaction, provides anti-inflammatory effect and speeds up the process of clinical remission.

  8. Study 1. There were 29 children with bronchial asthma of light and mild severity, aged from 7 to 16 years old. 62,1% of children had mild severity, 37,9% had light form of bronchial asthma. All children started breathing therapy with FD during the period between attacks. Study 2. 31 children with bronchitis of light and mild severity, aged 6 to 16 years old. 51,6% of children had mild severity, 48,4% of children had light form. Therapy was done during recovery period. Study 3. 30 children with vegetative-vascular dystonia of hypotonic type, aged 7 to 16 years old. Study 4. 30 children with vegetative-vascular dystonia, aged 12 to 16 years old. Therapy results (in 5 months) showed a favorable effect of breathing exercises with Frolov’s device on clinical progression of these conditions in children.
  9. First report was done after 20 days of breathing, Daniel was a little congested , so they did the test before giving him Albuterol  and after . That day I refused to take any prescription for meds and we decided to monitor Daniel closely, we scheduled appointments for 8-10 weeks. Every other appointment were showing steady feasible lung function improvements. Daniel  never  been given Albuterol  and/ or Steroids(Advair) , and he didn&apos;t need it since August 20  2010 He&apos;d performed  breathing sessions 25-30 minutes before bed time and 5-6 minutes in the morning on the regular basis during 12 month. He become more fit, got rid of 16  lb, became 2.5 inches taller. Self-esteem changed dramatically. He realized his freedom from docs, meds, prescriptions and etc., he became more confident and calm, became more physically strong, more physically active, his endurance increased.  After 8 weeks breathing with Frolov&apos;s he came from school and  said : &amp;quot; Mom, I am NOT the last kid running on my Physical Education (PE) class  anymore&amp;quot;!!!  That was a Victory!!! Our Doctor ( Nan Laoprasert, M.D. at Colorado Allergy and Asthma Centers, P.C) is kind of shy to accept the benefits of Frolov&apos;s device. She&apos;d easier interpret these incredible results as a grow burst or the fact that Daniel plays football...but the truth is that Daniel was growing before and still grows now and he has been playing  football since he was 7 years old, but only then, he was playing football with his inhaler in his packet.
