  2. 2. 2 Frustration is a common emotional response to opposition. Related to anger and disappointment, it arises from the perceived resistance to the fulfillment of individual will.
  3. 3. Definition 3  The level of a person's ability to withstand frustration without developing inadequate modes of response, such as “going to pieces” emotionally is called as frustration tolerance.

  8. 8. 8  An effective way to combat Low Frustration Tolerance is to dispute the thoughts and beliefs that underpin it.  Get a grip; it’s not life or death  It’s inconvenient but I can cope with it  Of course I can stand it, it’s really not that bad  I don’t like it but I can handle it

Frustration tolerance was increased by therapy.
