  3. 3. Mount Everest • Mount Everest is the highest peak in the world. It is in Nepal. It is 97 degrees below freezing. Each year mount Everest grows 2 inches long. The mountain is currently 29,107 feet tall. Everest has been climbed by 400 people.

  5. 5. K2 • K2 is the second highest mountain on the earth. It is located on the border between the Gilgit- Baltistan region of Pakistan and the country of Xingjian. It stands over 3,000 meters above much of the Glacial valley bottoms at its base.
