Located in the centre of Brampton it is handy for Huntingdon Racecourse and the railway station. It was converted into a restaurant in 1981. A fortnightly changing menu offers dishes with quite wide appeal, though the essential trend is towards traditional with a modern inclination. They also serve a simpler bar menu, including wonderful sandwiches on either brown, white bread or ciabatta.

Lamb Hotel
2 Lynn Road, Ely, CB7 4EJTel: 01353 663574 Fax: 01353 662023E-mail: 6476@greeneking.co.uk
One of the pleasant tokens of permanence in Ely is the Lamb Hotel, dating from the 14th century, snug with the Cathedral, a refuge for pilgrims and in the days of the 19th century Militia serving as an Officer’s Mess.

The Old Bridge Hotel
1 High Street, Huntingdon, PE29 3TQTel: 01480 424300 Fax: 01480 411017E-mail: oldbridge@huntsbridge.co.uk
The Old Bridge Hotel is a highly successful establishment where failure to book may cost you dear. Buzzing with life and bonhomie the place is a living example of the fact that it is not necessary to pay the earth to enjoy excellence. The wine list has won every award that UK guide books can offer. The eclectic choice includes 20 that are available by the glass.
