A Day At 07.45 Using A Code
On 30th December 2015 I was on duty. I reported to the reception at 07.45 using a code at the
device from the entrance as I am working in a Care Home where the residents suffer from Dementia
and due to their condition related with memory loss, they need to be protected so that they can not
leave and not be able to remember the way back in accordance with SOVA legislation. I used my fog
to clock in and also signed the staff book so that in case of fire the place would need to be
evacuated.
Then I changed my clothes and put on my uniform and my black shoes, put all my belongings into
my locker including my phone, tied my hair up and checked for my uniform to look nice and to have
my badge with my name on it; all in accordance with company Policies and Procedures.
I washed my hands and at 7.55 I went to the floor ready for work. I have checked the board to see
which unit I was allocated to. I was working on Thames Unit and my team was made up of 5 care
assistants and one nurse. The nurse did the hand over regarding all changes and concerns from night
staff and then she allocated each of us 3 residents. My residents were MR J, MR B and MRS M (
obviously these are pseudonyms in order to maintain confidentiality in accordance with Nursing and
Midwifery Council NMC 2015 Code of Conduct).
Next step was to read the care plans of the residents allocated to me, although I am key worker for
two of the residents allocated to me namely MR J And MRS M, to see if any changes

The Cabin-Personal Narrative
I impatiently inspected my watch, 10:12, we didn't have much time, the Morrison family was due to
be back at 11:00, tonight was the only night this week we could do this job and we had to hurry. I
looked around nervously, the black sky above seemed to be pressing down on us, the moon a giant
haning spotlight illuminating everything, the woods, the cabin and us. Everything was silent except
for the wind, and I began to get the eerie feeling of being watched, "Bert co–" I started again but
then there was a sudden succession of quiet clicks and the large wooden door of the cabin swung
open. "You were saying?" Bert grinned as he stowed his tools into his bag, "Finally," I breathed and
quickly made my way into the cabin Bert close behind. It was

Cheerios Swot Analysis
SWOT Commentary
STRENGTHS:
The cheerios brand from the organization Nestle has been around for years and is a well known
cereal / brand still with a significant share in the breakfast cereal market of 3%.
COMMENTARY:
The brand cheerios has been around since 1945 and comes from the strong brand Nestle which is a
Swiss multinational nutritional company formed in 1905. A Mintel report by Clifford (2012) clearly
shows that cheerios has a 3% market share of breakfast cereals. Whilst this does not seem
particularly high, the branded cereal which holds the largest share is only at 8%. From the report a
fair observation can be made that cold cereals, which includes Cheerios, form 87% of the total
market and so therefore a strong ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A future marketing plan should focus on the product being sold as a family cereal in the morning as
there is a growing segment that would relate to this. A report conducted by Ihekweazu (2011) looks
into the eating habits of people within the UK. Stating that the sales of breakfast cereals has
therefore been mainly driven by consumers demand for a cost effective and convenient breakfast
options driven by a desire for a healthy start to the day. It was also found that 'two thirds of
consumers eat breakfast at home every day, rising to 78% of over–55s and 85% of those that are
retired.'
REFERENCE:
Ihekweazu, V. (2011). Mintel Report. Breakfast Easting Habits – UK. Vl1.
More women being employed who are more conscious of eating breakfast in the morning, passing
this down to the children.
COMMENTARY:
In a Mintel report by Ihekweazu (2011) it is found that the number of women in employment has
increased and is set to increase by 1.5% within the next five years, this is quite an important social
change within the external environment. This is due to the fact that women are more inclined to east
breakfast at home, this therefore has a huge impact on the children within the family as it means
theoretically it will be easier for parents to ensure their child is having breakfast. It also means that
they have more control over what they are eating.
This should theoretically make it easier for parents to ensure that their children have breakfast at
home

Running Head: BRAND EQUITY AND POSITIONING
Quaker Oats – Brand Equity and Positioning
Abstract
Brand equity and positioning are integral parts of any marketing campaign. Any product or service
needs to provide value to its customers in order to be successful. A personal interview and research
reveal information about the Quaker Oats brand, how it created equity and its position in the market.
Having a solid foundation and keeping up with changes in trends and society are the keys to a
successful brand.
Quaker Oats – Brand Equity and Positioning Many products are identified by particular brand
names, like Levi's (instead of jeans), Kleenex (instead of tissue), or Band–Aid (instead of adhesive
bandages). A brand ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Primarily the loyalty is based on perception, not tangible evidence. Here we can see how important
brand equity and positioning can be to a product that is otherwise probably on par with many of its
competitors, but the message conveyed by the brand is quite different. Quaker Oats emerged from a
turn of the century merger of three milling companies over 130 years ago. It grew to become one of
the top companies in the world by providing reliable quality to its first customers. Quaker Oats has
been able to build a reputation of offering healthy, wholesome breakfast foods by targeting female
supermarket customers. Although advertising has gone from a "warm, healthy breakfast" to
delivering messages about "vitamins and minerals essential to a female metabolism" (Standaert,
2003), the target market is the same. Quaker is also hoping to reach nutrition professionals and
health–food retailers. According to Indra Nooyi, Chief Executive Officer of Pepsico (parent
company of Quaker Oats), they "...do not market to kids under 12..." since they "...do not have a
nutritious product..." they feel comfortable marketing to young kids (Farey–Jones, 2010). Quakers
are a religious sect noted for purity and an old–fashioned work ethic. Just the name evokes images
of vast farmlands that have been worked and harvested by hand and a perceived purity (Brand
Marketing Strategy, 2008). In 1877, Quaker began building its brand equity with its trademark

Chad Research Paper
Chad is made up of over 140 different ethnic groups, whose diets are as diverse as their cultural
traditions. The Arabs of northern Chad––who are nomadic or live in the capital of N'Djamena––eat
staples of dairy and meat, while groups in the agricultural south have a plant–based diet. However,
there are certain national dishes that all Chadians share.
Grains
A thick grain porridge called boule is a common dish throughout Chad. The grain used in the north
is generally maize; in the south, millet is the primary grain consumed. Boule can also be made of
peanuts, cassava or sorghum, depending on which crop is grown locally. The porridge is rolled into
a ball and served with any number of different sauces, made of dried fish, meat or vegetables. Crops
such as potatoes, rice and sesame are more common in the agricultural south. A sweetened peanut
and millet porridge flavored with lemon is known as bouillie. A typical Northern Arab dish is known

They are often dried, and Chadians cook them into numerous different sauces to flavor their food.
Garlic, okra and dried pimento are other flavorings found in nearly ever dish. Dates, guava and
mangoes also grow in various parts of Chad.
Meat
Goats are the most commonly raised animals in Chad; their meat is frequently eaten and
incorporated into meals. When beef is used, it is chopped and made into a tomato–sauce dish called
nashif. For special occasions, Southern Chadians prepare tan oul (long sauce) out of meat, dried fish
or beans. Due to their cost, meat and fish are often dried; they're preserved for later use, especially
in the south.
Dairy and other Protein
Milk from cows and goats forms a staple of the diet of the nomads of Northern Chad. Clarified
butters and yogurts are sweetened and spiced with cardamom; they come in all varieties. Southern
Chadians consume very little dairy. They supplement their protein with peanuts and dried fish.

Macro Environmental Factors Of The Sanitarium Health Food...
4.3 Macro–environmental Analysis The current report tends to discuss the three macro–
environmental factors are relevant to the operations of the Sanitarium Health Food Co, namely
Political, Economic and Social factors. they could either be of positive value or of negative value to
the company and they should be closely monitored. Political Factor: One political factor that is
bound to play a role in the regular course of operations for the company is one that governs charity,
The Charities Act under which category the parent company, The Sanitarium Health Food Co, is
registered. The company qualifies for charity status, which is allowable under Section 43 of The
Charities Act within New Zealand Law (Inland Revenue, 2014). Sanitarium has qualified for charity
status since 2008. Under this status the company does not need to pay income tax nor is it required
to pay council rates. Moreover, they also receive revenue from activities that other business would
probably not, like bequests and donations (Tonya Wright, 2012). It could be seen as an opportunity,
since this type of revenue creates a cash flow advantage for Sanitarium over its competitors. Apart
from the opportunity that it offers the company's finances, a company that is vested in advancement
of religion, education and the relief of poverty as well as any other thing that is beneficial to the
community, is easily endeared to the community where their target markets are domiciled. It is a

Berenstain Bears Go To The Doctor Summary
The book I chose to review for this assignment was The Berenstain Bears Go to the Doctor by Stan
and Jan Berenstain. This book would be appropriate for grades K–3rd. The story was published by
Random House Incorporated in 1981. The book starts with Mama Bear telling the children that they
have a doctor's appointment the next day, then explaining why they must go to the doctor for a
checkup. Sister bear immediately gets anxiety and becomes worried about visiting the doctor but
Papa Bear was there to comfort her. The next day on the way to the doctor, Sister Bear asks Mama
and Papa bear if they ever get checkups. As Papa Bear was telling her he doesn't need checkups
anymore, he has a huge sneeze. As the bears were on their way to the doctor, Papa Bear's sneezes
kept getting worse and more frequent. When the bears got the doctor, the doctor started doing a
standard check up on the cubs. Then the doctor revealed to them that they needed shots; the cubs
became confused on why they needed shots if they weren't sick. The doctor explains how some
medicine you take after you get sick while others are to prevent you from getting sick. Sister bear

I believe that the vocabulary used in the story was very appropriate for the age group the story is

to mediate with the children for but not enough to make the book inappropriate. The next topic of
critique is the graphics. I enjoyed the story's graphics as I think children would also. They were very
detailed and would help mediate with the children on some of the unknown words. Lastly, I wanted
to critique the accuracy of material presented. All the knowledge on this book was very accurate to
what a child or any young adult would experience going in for a checkup at the doctor. The story did
a great job at portraying a real–life situation of visiting the

Summary Of Goldilocks And The Three Bears
Summary: The story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears begins in a cottage deep in the woods. This
house is occupied by a family of bears: mama bear, papa bear and there only child baby bear. Their
home is very neat and tidy. In the home, each bear has its own size chair, porridge bowl and bed
which are all sized appropriately to the sizing of the bears. Not far away from where the bears
house, lived a mischievous beautiful little girl with long soft blonde locks, who had an inquiring
mind. Her name was Goldilocks One day the three bears went to visit a new born baby, the same
time Goldilocks wandered into the woods. Through out her walk she came upon a house than
peeked inside. When realizing it was where baby bear lived, Goldilocks took it upon herself to go
into the house without the owner's permission. She looked around (after entering) the bears home.
Being goldilocks, she had a realization where she was not satisfied with superficial answers. She
tested everything out for herself before she made up her mind. She tested each of the bears
following items: porridge bowls, chairs, and beds. After testing mama and papa bears porridge bowl
she found baby bears to be just right. When sitting on the chair she broke baby bears chair into
pieces. All those activities made the impish little girl tried so she decided to go up stairs to see which
bed has the best texture for her to take a nap in. Passing through mama and papa bears bed she
ended up falling asleep in baby bears bed.

How To Innovate America
wasn't perfect entailed to more hard work. Eventually, Kellogg manifested his way up to the creation
of Corn Flakes, and they both slammed the market in 1897. Ultimately, other companies began to
create and distribute cereals, and by 1911, there were over a hundred cereal companies in the city of
Battle Creek. In 2011, the world's largest cereal company, Kellogg, sold over $13 billion in cereal.
Speaking of which, an online article from the MSU library–"Cereal" is insightful regarding the
topic. Did you know cereal sales have increased $1 billion from 2006–2010? According to the
journal, General Mills is also sending coupons to consumer's smart phones. Another brilliant
marketing strategy, convenience to the max. To further prove my point, other companies such as
Nestle, Purina, Campbell Soup co, are all studying the psychology of shoppers, and their attitude
towards most of the factors you can think of. The science in America is innovating is one of the few
factors of why America is sometimes called the best country in the world. ... Show more content on

We're coming up with new, efficient methods to help innovate America. For example, water filters,
which are basically filters that remove contaminants from raw water, and allow us to consume pure
water. Many contaminants nowadays can be dangerous, and can cause damage. Food
science/technology plays a key role in our daily lives, and it seems like we're taking it for granted.
Without food science, how would we know what's in the food we're eating? There would be no food
labels, labeling if it's a product of health, or a product we want to stay away from. The field is
fabricating ways to even create 'safe packaging', which allows for a food to store all of its nutritional

What Is The Nature Of The Woman In The Handmaid's Tale
Once upon a time there was a wealthy yet wise little girl who lived with her parents, and they no

an old, wicked woman met her. She knew of the old woman's wickedness, who valued all of their

she said, "Little pot, cook your sweet, but malevolent wonder," and it would cook good, sweet millet

Goldilocks and the Three Bears In this story, "Goldilocks and the three Bears", there are three bears
who live in a house, and one morning they decide to go for a walk. Goldilocks then wonders in the

very deep history and his story compares and contrast to various cultures around the world. Further
in "Goldilocks and the Three Bears", Goldilocks gets told off by the bears. She gets told off because,

Case Study Of Innovation Around Product System
Innovation around Product System: A Case Study on Despite Group of Companies and Koko King
A business, no matter how large it is, cannot thrive without innovation. In a world where
obsolescence, and not only physical damage, shorten the life cycle of products and services,
innovation is key. Innovation, as largely defined, is the art of adding value to an already existing
product, service or process or the art of creating something new. Innovation around product system
implies creating value through the building of offerings that will complement the already existing
ones (Doblin, 2017). This piece seeks to explore the topic, Innovation around Product Systems. The
text will study carefully how the Ghanaian companies, Despite Group of Companies ... Show more

The company took the product performance innovation approach as they enhanced the packaging
whilst increasing accessibility to Hausa koko (porridge). With regards to system innovation, Koko
King added to its breakfast dishes (oat, eku egbeemi/grits, wheat porridge, corn porridge, tom
brown, oblayo and rice porridge), sandwiches, pancakes, and akara as supplements. Moreover, the
company has added lunch dishes like banku, wakye, jollof and kenkey (Koko King, 2017). These
different local dishes give variety to customers and with a reliable delivery service as a compliment,
they are able to capture the value created. Their innovation greatly paid off. They did not only boost
sales but as well won many awards. Among these awards are Small and Medium Entrepreneur of the
Year 2013, Overall Best SME (SMEGA 2013), Product Innovation of the Year 2013 and 2014, and
Industrial Sector Award for Best Food Processing Company (SMEGA 2014) (Koko King, 2017).
Key Lessons Learnt After a thorough exploration of product system innovation and an in–depth
examination of the cases, the authors came to the realization that innovation, no matter which type
or how small it might be, pays. Society recognized and awarded both companies for their innovation
and their sales soared with innovation. Again, the authors accepted the "what–should–be" the
obvious relevance of product system innovation – to shield

Modern And Modern Popular Media
Ancient and modern popular media have misled audiences from the truth of the typical diet of lower
strata of Roman society. Modern movies and books and even ancient satire, which was a popular
culture medium of their day, all put forth a stereotype of the decadent and rich citizens of Imperial
Rome as contrasted with the humble fare of the poor Romans. The modern media, possibly
influenced by the ancient satire and the fact that much of our information about the Roman diet
comes from what we know about the upper strata of Roman society and how they lived, plays into
stereotypes of the Romans of the Imperial Period stuffing themselves on dormice and grapes while
their society's servants went hungry. When the critical aspect of satire is ... Show more content on

television shows and movies, have perpetuated this belief. In the episode "The Fires of Pompeii" of
the BBC television series Doctor Who, the character Caecilius, depicted as one of the wealthiest
inhabitants of Pompeii, requests of his slave, "oh Rombus, I'm a little bit peckish. Get me some ants
in honey, there's a good man. Ooh, maybe a dormouse!" Caecilius is shown to be very wealthy by
the size and beauty of his house, and the fact that he is in the act of preparing to meet an important
business man who has come all the way from Rome. This request of his slave connects the
dormouse to wealthy Romans. Also, his uncertainty of whether he wants the dormouse or not creates
the sense that the dormouse is a delicacy, as if he, as one of the richest in Pompeii, can hardly afford
such a treat. From archeological evidence, it has been recently revealed that the dormouse was not
exclusive to those of the highest strata of Roman society.

Breakfast : The Most Important Meal Of The Day
Breakfast. The most important meal of the day. This is something we all have heard. Eat your
breakfast so the day can begin right. Breakfast is indeed a vital part of the day. However, I
personally don't care for breakfast food, I never have. Grits, oatmeal, cream of wheat, etc. have
never been my "thing". I think it is the textures that get to me, or it could just be that I dread getting
up earlier than I have to. I am not a morning person at all. Most of the time I just skip breakfast. I
know overall that is not a good thing. I would soon learn just how important it is not to skip this
meal one bitterly cold winter morning. When you live in Michigan you get the luxury of the full
winter experience. There is glistening snow on the ground, the trees are bare and the cold winter
wind hits you across the face. Today felt colder than usual nevertheless, it was a typical weekend for
me. My mother dropped me off at the mall. I headed straight to the food court seeing as though I
didn't eat breakfast this morning. I am amazed by the Christmas lights and decorations. Christmas is
my absolute favorite time of year. It can't get any better than this. I am craving taco bell, so I walk
up to the counter and proceed to place my order, "Hi
Douglas 2
I would like to get...". Pause. What is happening? I am feeling dizzy. How did I get on a roller
coaster? Who is screaming? Why is it so dark?
The lights are so bright now. I am slightly perplexed. I was just ordering a nacho bell

Essay On Bill And Vera Cleaver's Where The Lilies Bloom
On average, ten thousand hundred people read Goldilocks each year in many different languages.
But has anyone ever compared it to life lessons or other books? They're alike in many ways. Robert
Southey, in 1837, wrote the first recorded version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. In this version,
Goldilocks breaks into the bears' house and tries out all of their of belongings, and she also breaks
some things. The bears come home and finds her lying in one of their beds. She wakes up and she
quickly runs away. Where the Lilies Bloom is a novel by Bill and Vera Cleaver. The main characters
in this book are Kiser Pease, the one who owns the land that the Luthers sharecrop off of, and The
Luther family. The Luther family includes Mary Call, the one who takes over when her father dies,
Devola, the oldest, Romey, the only boy left in the family, and Ima Dean. In this novel, a poor
family of sharecroppers, the Luthers, loses their dad and has to learn to survive and be responsible
very quickly. They face many hardships and often need help, but they always keep their promises to
their father. These two stories are very similar in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

the Luther's way of surviving and eating. Mary Call's surviving instincts kick in. "The piece of two–

backward in the snow. I walked over to him and kicked him hard in the gut. He quivered once and

How Did Goldilocks Break The Bear
Goldilocks and the three bears. We have all read the famous fairy tale of Goldilocks and the three
bears, but as a kid we did not really look into the book. As a child we all looked at it being an
accident that Goldilocks broke the bear's chair and ate their porridge but when you get older you
realize that she was actually breaking the law. She may have not known that she was trespassing but
at the end she did not even apologize, so we can all see that Goldilocks is a person. The things she
did could have happened to anyone but she could have explained to the bears that it was
unintentional. Goldilocks is a bad person because she trespassed into the bear's home, she ate Baby
Bear's porridge and ruined the rest of it, and she broke the bear's ... Show more content on

She may not have known it belonged to someone but she still made the mistake and should own up
to it. She was walking into the woods when she got hungry so she wanted to get something to eat.
She just walked into a random house and looked around. Of course she was hungry so she walked in
and into the kitchen, where there was lots of porridge. Goldilocks saw three bowls of porridge and
being hungry she decided to taste all of the porridge but was only satisfied with Baby Bear's. So she
ate all of it, every last bit, leaving none for poor little Baby Bear. No one else could have their
porridge either because Goldilocks spilled it all over the table. Since the porridge was delicious and
just the right temperature, Goldilocks soon got sleepy. She had become tired and decided to go find
somewhere to sit down for awhile. After eating all of the porridge, Goldilocks went to find a chair to
sit in. She went into their living room and there were 3 chairs she tested them all out but Baby Bear's
chair was the best. She rocked the chair so much she broke it to pieces! She hadn't broken the other
chairs but she did not leave them as she had found them, so the bears knew someone had sat in their

What Is The Last Time When Goldilocks Went Wrong
"This porridge is way too hot" said, Goldilocks. Then, Goldilocks went to the the third bowl of

I don't usually add any more milk, this way gives it a creamy consistency.

Sometimes I love to add the goodness and nutrition of blueberries.
If I remember, I will soak them overnight.
When it comes to making porridge, there are so many ways to enjoy and make the benefits of rolled
oats more tempting.
Other things you can add to porridge, dried fruit, nuts, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, yoghurt, protein

Another one of my favourite fruits I like to add when I don't have any bananas. Is stewed pears and
apples.
Oats were first introduced in the United States, by Scottish settlers around the 1600's. Today it is
grown in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Germany, Poland, and China.
Interestingly, oats production has actually declined over the years by half of what it was in the

A Crumby Story of Goldilocks and The Three Bears
Oh boy, you'll never guess what kind of story that goddam sonuvabitch Stradlater told me. It has to
be the phoniest story I've ever heard, and I'm actually not lying this time. Anyways, you're not going
to believe me so I don't even know why I'm telling ya, but here it is, the same goddam thing that
Stradlater told me. I suppose I should start at the beginning of the story, it only makes sense.
Anyways, he started the story by telling me about some phony girl named Goldilocks or something
and these three very sore bears who lived in a small house in the middle of the forest. I hate when I
hear about others who are poorer than me. It bothers me when others don't have the same advantages
as me. It depresses the hell out of me, it really does. Anyways, you wouldn 't think anybody would
be living way the hell out in the goddam forest, but here they were. Honestly who still believes in
this fairy tale crap anymore. Allie, my younger brother you know the one I told you about. He used
to love hearing fairy tales and stories, he really did. Me, not so much especially the crumby ones. It
bothers me when parents tell their kids these stories with phony characters and phony plots, if you
want to know the truth. The characters are always so goddam crumby, they're worst than the actors
in movies. They never act like real people, but I guess that's why they're called fairy tales.

Goldilocks has done some very illegal things in her story book, you may ask what are those.
Goldilocks broke in the bears home, is is one of the reasons I say she is a criminal. Breaking into

Porridge Sociological Theory
Introduction
The roles of prison officials could assist in the rehabilitation of prisoners; by helping them form
reasonable skills and abilities. However, the attitudes towards prisoners held by the prison officials
could prevent rehabilitation; as the prisoners and prison officials interact on a daily basis, the prison
officials hold a position to strongly influence the prisoners.
While the focus of the film Porridge is on the prisoners, the focus of this essay shall be on the
theories of punishment, which prison officials could fulfil within their own capacities; the attitudes
of the prison officials towards prisoners; as well as how the theories of punishment and attitudes can
assist or prevent in rehabilitation.
Porridge
The film Porridge ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Norman Fletcher, a prisoner with a humorous outlook on life and is a typical recidivist, shows little
remorse for his wrongdoings that resulted in his imprison; when asked what he was doing time for,
he retorts that it was for getting caught (Porridge, 1979).
Theories of Punishment Prison Officials Can Fulfil
The most popular forms of punishment are the Retributive and Utilitarian theory (also referred to as
Consequentialist theory).
The retributive theory of punishment advocates that punishment for a crime is done because an
offender deserves to be punished for the harms they have inflicted with the crimes they committed.
The utilitarian theory of punishment advocates that punishment for a crime is done to discourage
crimes from being committed in the future.
These theories aim to justify the use for punishment (Carlsmith, 2006, Page 1 and 2).
These theories of punishment have empirical evidence behind them to suggest they have the
potential to be the best path of punishment to lower crime rates overall; yet both are indeterminate
about what should be punished and to what extent it should be punished with (Bilz, 2004, Page 38);
neither side can agree whether the severity or certainty of punishment is more effective in deterring
crime and if deterrence is in fact the aim of punishment

Character Archetypes In Perseus And Cinderella
Character archetypes are present in almost all fairytales, fables, novels, poems, and folktales. An
archetype is a character or situation that repeats universally throughout stories. In Perseus, King
Acrisius learns that his daughter, Danae, is going to have a son that will kill him. He fears what the
gods will do to him if he kills his daughter, so he imprisons
Danae. This represents the character locked away archetype that is also present in Cinderella. When
Perseus goes on his quest, the hero on a journey archetype, his quest is to defeat Medusa, who
represents the monster archetype. Medusa is the scary monster because she turns you to stone if you
look directly into her eyes. Polydectes fell in love with Danae, wanting nothing to do with ... Show

This story also contains retaliation from the gods after someone claims to be better than them. This
is shown when queen
Cassiopeia claims to be more beautiful than Necrosis. Another archetype shown in this story is help
from the gods. Perseus receives special items to aid him o his quest from Hermes and
Athena. The theme of this story is that you can not change fate.
If you have courage, it pays off.
In The Fenris Wolf, an archetype is the mighty villain. The
Fenris wolf is the mighty villain that can defeat the gods. You also have the brave warrior archetype,
the man who sacrificed his hand in the Fenris wolf's mouth so the gods could chain him down. This
story also explains how the world will end, the wolf will be released and destroy the gods. The gods
use the father of the Fenris wolf for his cleverness and they try to trick the villain that can defeat
them.
In the Coyote and Crow, the coyote is the witty, cunning, tricky, and clever trickster who wants
something from the naive, gullible, and sad fool. This archetype is the trickster, who wants
something from the fool and tricks them to get it, and the fool, who loses what they have, and is

Goldilocks 2 Judgement Day
Goldilocks 2, Judgement Day "So finally, i'm out," I sighed As I walk towards Bearsville I think
about what happened those twenty years ago, I was just a small girl looking for some food and a
place to sleep and I came across the house and couldn't help myself.
"A disgrace," the bears called me.
As I make it to Bearsville I am immediately recognized and shunned. I ask where the mayor's house
was and they wouldn't answer me, until I asked a little cub who apparently hadn't heard of me and
she directed me. I knocked on the door and the once little cub of the family I "robbed" who now was
a full grown bear opened the door, saw me, then immediately slammed the door so hard the ground

So now I have to make him a new chair. So I gather all the things I need and I build a decent chair
"What the heck, is there even any cushions in this chair." He inquired "I'll put some in there." I

"This chair is way too soft now!" He roars as he sits down.

Now i have to build a new bed for this old bear. So i gather all the things I will need.

So I do my very best to make a bed to make this old, mean bear happy again. I make sure to use the

Cereal at the Store Study
Introduction Breakfast cereal is a commonly eaten food in the United States. According to the
website CEEREAL of the European breakfast cereal Association, the first ever cereal was granola
which was invented by James Caleb Jackson in 1863 who was the operator of the Jackson Sanitarian
in the state of New York (Ceereal). It would not catch on due to the long prep time needed to make
the cereal edible. In 1889 two brothers W.K. Kellogg, and his brother, Dr. John Harvey Kellogg,

I would observe the way the customers would buy there cereal as well, such is the customers had

would start Friday night at Kroger at Brewers Yard, which is a large Kroger store that also feature a
liqueur store and a bistro. The demographics is very diverse due to it central location and the
surrounding neighborhoods. This store can cater to traditional working class urbanites to the affluent
suburbanite who works downtown and stop at this location to buy groceries before going home.
Given this diverse clientele I concluded this store would be a good store to observe. When I enter
the store the first thing I did was walk towards the cereal Aisle which is in the middle of the store.
Once I was in the cereal aisle, I would notice that besides cereal the also contained other breakfast
foods such as Pop Tarts, breakfast bars, and oatmeal. The aisle also contained products to make
other breakfast food such as an egg poacher and a breakfast sandwich maker. Finally I would
observe that the area also was where the Tea and hot chocolate is located which usually complement
breakfast. I would next focus on the Cereal Aisle I would first discover how the cereal was arranged.
At this location the cereal was arranged according to brands. One section of the aisle was dedicated

Baby Bear Research Paper
Goldilocks enters the three bears' residence without their consent. Goldilocks eats the three bears'
porridge and deals with it in such a manner that it cannot be restored to the condition that it was in
before she took it. Goldilocks deprives the Bears of the porridge absolutely, making it theft.
Goldilocks obstructs the lawful use of their property when she sleeps in Baby bear's bed. Goldilocks
damages the Bears' property when she breaks the chair. Goldilocks enters the Bears' house without
their express permission and trespasses on their private property. Part B The Bears are seeking
compensation for the chair that was damaged, the porridge that was eaten, and the counselling that
Baby bear requires to overcome the emotional trauma caused by Goldilocks. They request fifty
dollars to pay for a replacement chair, five dollars to cover the cost of porridge, and a minimum of
five hundred dollars to pay for Baby bear's counselling. The defendant has been accused of breaking

chair found at the scene combined with Goldilocks' presence at the residence indicate that she is
responsible for the damages to the plaintiff's property. All three members of the Bears family

A Day At 07.45 Using A Code

  • 1. A Day At 07.45 Using A Code On 30th December 2015 I was on duty. I reported to the reception at 07.45 using a code at the device from the entrance as I am working in a Care Home where the residents suffer from Dementia and due to their condition related with memory loss, they need to be protected so that they can not leave and not be able to remember the way back in accordance with SOVA legislation. I used my fog to clock in and also signed the staff book so that in case of fire the place would need to be evacuated. Then I changed my clothes and put on my uniform and my black shoes, put all my belongings into my locker including my phone, tied my hair up and checked for my uniform to look nice and to have my badge with my name on it; all in accordance with company Policies and Procedures. I washed my hands and at 7.55 I went to the floor ready for work. I have checked the board to see which unit I was allocated to. I was working on Thames Unit and my team was made up of 5 care assistants and one nurse. The nurse did the hand over regarding all changes and concerns from night staff and then she allocated each of us 3 residents. My residents were MR J, MR B and MRS M ( obviously these are pseudonyms in order to maintain confidentiality in accordance with Nursing and Midwifery Council NMC 2015 Code of Conduct). Next step was to read the care plans of the residents allocated to me, although I am key worker for two of the residents allocated to me namely MR J And MRS M, to see if any changes ... I looked around nervously, the black sky above seemed to be pressing down on us, the moon a giant haning spotlight illuminating everything, the woods, the cabin and us. Everything was silent except for the wind, and I began to get the eerie feeling of being watched, "Bert co–" I started again but then there was a sudden succession of quiet clicks and the large wooden door of the cabin swung open. Cheerios Swot Analysis SWOT Commentary STRENGTHS: The cheerios brand from the organization Nestle has been around for years and is a well known cereal / brand still with a significant share in the breakfast cereal market of 3%. COMMENTARY: The brand cheerios has been around since 1945 and comes from the strong brand Nestle which is a Swiss multinational nutritional company formed in 1905. A Mintel report by Clifford (2012) clearly shows that cheerios has a 3% market share of breakfast cereals. A future marketing plan should focus on the product being sold as a family cereal in the morning as there is a growing segment that would relate to this. A report conducted by Ihekweazu (2011) looks into the eating habits of people within the UK. Stating that the sales of breakfast cereals has therefore been mainly driven by consumers demand for a cost effective and convenient breakfast options driven by a desire for a healthy start to the day. It was also found that 'two thirds of consumers eat breakfast at home every day, rising to 78% of over–55s and 85% of those that are retired.' REFERENCE: Ihekweazu, V. (2011). Mintel Report. Breakfast Easting Habits – UK. Vl1. More women being employed who are more conscious of eating breakfast in the morning, passing this down to the children. COMMENTARY: In a Mintel report by Ihekweazu (2011) it is found that the number of women in employment has increased and is set to increase by 1.5% within the next five years, this is quite an important social change within the external environment. This is due to the fact that women are more inclined to east breakfast at home, this therefore has a huge impact on the children within the family as it means theoretically it will be easier for parents to ensure their child is having breakfast. It also means that they have more control over what they are eating.

Any product or service needs to provide value to its customers in order to be successful. A personal interview and research reveal information about the Quaker Oats brand, how it created equity and its position in the market. Having a solid foundation and keeping up with changes in trends and society are the keys to a successful brand. Here we can see how important brand equity and positioning can be to a product that is otherwise probably on par with many of its competitors, but the message conveyed by the brand is quite different. Quaker Oats emerged from a turn of the century merger of three milling companies over 130 years ago. It grew to become one of the top companies in the world by providing reliable quality to its first customers. Quaker Oats has been able to build a reputation of offering healthy, wholesome breakfast foods by targeting female supermarket customers. Although advertising has gone from a "warm, healthy breakfast" to delivering messages about "vitamins and minerals essential to a female metabolism" (Standaert, 2003), the target market is the same. Quaker is also hoping to reach nutrition professionals and health–food retailers. According to Indra Nooyi, Chief Executive Officer of Pepsico (parent company of Quaker Oats), they "...do not market to kids under 12..." since they "...do not have a nutritious product..." they feel comfortable marketing to young kids (Farey–Jones, 2010). Quakers are a religious sect noted for purity and an old–fashioned work ethic. Just the name evokes images of vast farmlands that have been worked and harvested by hand and a perceived purity (Brand Marketing Strategy, 2008). The Arabs of northern Chad––who are nomadic or live in the capital of N'Djamena––eat staples of dairy and meat, while groups in the agricultural south have a plant–based diet. However, there are certain national dishes that all Chadians share. Grains A thick grain porridge called boule is a common dish throughout Chad. The grain used in the north is generally maize; in the south, millet is the primary grain consumed. Boule can also be made of peanuts, cassava or sorghum, depending on which crop is grown locally. The porridge is rolled into a ball and served with any number of different sauces, made of dried fish, meat or vegetables. • 15. Macro Environmental Factors Of The Sanitarium Health Food... 4.3 Macro–environmental Analysis The current report tends to discuss the three macro– environmental factors are relevant to the operations of the Sanitarium Health Food Co, namely Political, Economic and Social factors. they could either be of positive value or of negative value to the company and they should be closely monitored. Political Factor: One political factor that is bound to play a role in the regular course of operations for the company is one that governs charity, The Charities Act under which category the parent company, The Sanitarium Health Food Co, is registered. The company qualifies for charity status, which is allowable under Section 43 of The Charities Act within New Zealand Law (Inland Revenue, 2014). Sanitarium has qualified for charity status since 2008. Under this status the company does not need to pay income tax nor is it required to pay council rates. Moreover, they also receive revenue from activities that other business would probably not, like bequests and donations (Tonya Wright, 2012). It could be seen as an opportunity, since this type of revenue creates a cash flow advantage for Sanitarium over its competitors. Apart from the opportunity that it offers the company's finances, a company that is vested in advancement of religion, education and the relief of poverty as well as any other thing that is beneficial to the community, is easily endeared to the community where their target markets are domiciled. This book would be appropriate for grades K–3rd. The story was published by Random House Incorporated in 1981. The book starts with Mama Bear telling the children that they have a doctor's appointment the next day, then explaining why they must go to the doctor for a checkup. Sister bear immediately gets anxiety and becomes worried about visiting the doctor but Papa Bear was there to comfort her. The next day on the way to the doctor, Sister Bear asks Mama and Papa bear if they ever get checkups. As Papa Bear was telling her he doesn't need checkups anymore, he has a huge sneeze. As the bears were on their way to the doctor, Papa Bear's sneezes kept getting worse and more frequent. When the bears got the doctor, the doctor started doing a standard check up on the cubs. Then the doctor revealed to them that they needed shots; the cubs became confused on why they needed shots if they weren't sick. • 19. Summary Of Goldilocks And The Three Bears Summary: The story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears begins in a cottage deep in the woods. This house is occupied by a family of bears: mama bear, papa bear and there only child baby bear. Their home is very neat and tidy. In the home, each bear has its own size chair, porridge bowl and bed which are all sized appropriately to the sizing of the bears. Not far away from where the bears house, lived a mischievous beautiful little girl with long soft blonde locks, who had an inquiring mind. Her name was Goldilocks One day the three bears went to visit a new born baby, the same time Goldilocks wandered into the woods. Through out her walk she came upon a house than peeked inside. When realizing it was where baby bear lived, Goldilocks took it upon herself to go into the house without the owner's permission. She looked around (after entering) the bears home. Being goldilocks, she had a realization where she was not satisfied with superficial answers. She tested everything out for herself before she made up her mind. She tested each of the bears following items: porridge bowls, chairs, and beds. After testing mama and papa bears porridge bowl she found baby bears to be just right. When sitting on the chair she broke baby bears chair into pieces. Ultimately, other companies began to create and distribute cereals, and by 1911, there were over a hundred cereal companies in the city of Battle Creek. In 2011, the world's largest cereal company, Kellogg, sold over $13 billion in cereal. Speaking of which, an online article from the MSU library–"Cereal" is insightful regarding the topic. Did you know cereal sales have increased $1 billion from 2006–2010? According to the journal, General Mills is also sending coupons to consumer's smart phones. Another brilliant marketing strategy, convenience to the max. To further prove my point, other companies such as Nestle, Purina, Campbell Soup co, are all studying the psychology of shoppers, and their attitude towards most of the factors you can think of. Food science/technology plays a key role in our daily lives, and it seems like we're taking it for granted. Without food science, how would we know what's in the food we're eating? There would be no food labels, labeling if it's a product of health, or a product we want to stay away from. Modern movies and books and even ancient satire, which was a popular culture medium of their day, all put forth a stereotype of the decadent and rich citizens of Imperial Rome as contrasted with the humble fare of the poor Romans. The modern media, possibly influenced by the ancient satire and the fact that much of our information about the Roman diet comes from what we know about the upper strata of Roman society and how they lived, plays into stereotypes of the Romans of the Imperial Period stuffing themselves on dormice and grapes while their society's servants went hungry. It is a common belief that the Romans who were not wealthy enough to enjoy lavish banquets were forced to eat a dreary and unhealthy diet of pulses and porridges. Modern popular media, such as television shows and movies, have perpetuated this belief. In the episode "The Fires of Pompeii" of the BBC television series Doctor Who, the character Caecilius, depicted as one of the wealthiest inhabitants of Pompeii, requests of his slave, "oh Rombus, I'm a little bit peckish. Get me some ants in honey, there's a good man. Ooh, maybe a dormouse!" Caecilius is shown to be very wealthy by the size and beauty of his house, and the fact that he is in the act of preparing to meet an important business man who has come all the way from Rome. This request of his slave connects the dormouse to wealthy Romans. Also, his uncertainty of whether he wants the dormouse or not creates the sense that the dormouse is a delicacy, as if he, as one of the richest in Pompeii, can hardly afford such a treat. From archeological evidence, it has been recently revealed that the dormouse was not exclusive to those of the highest strata of Roman society. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Breakfast is indeed a vital part of the day. However, I personally don't care for breakfast food, I never have. Grits, oatmeal, cream of wheat, etc. have never been my "thing". I think it is the textures that get to me, or it could just be that I dread getting up earlier than I have to. I am not a morning person at all. Most of the time I just skip breakfast. A Story Of Goldilocks And The Three Bears Zoya Ali Ms. Chinnick ENG3U1 1 November 2016 A Crumby Story of Goldilocks and The Three Bears Oh boy, you'll never guess what kind of story that goddam sonuvabitch Stradlater told me. It has to be the phoniest story I've ever heard, and I'm actually not lying this time. Anyways, you're not going to believe me so I don't even know why I'm telling ya, but here it is, the same goddam thing that Stradlater told me. I suppose I should start at the beginning of the story, it only makes sense. Anyways, he started the story by telling me about some phony girl named Goldilocks or something and these three very sore bears who lived in a small house in the middle of the forest. I hate when I hear about others who are poorer than me. It bothers me when others don't have the same advantages as me. It depresses the hell out of me, it really does. Anyways, you wouldn 't think anybody would be living way the hell out in the goddam forest, but here they were. Honestly who still believes in this fairy tale crap anymore. Allie, my younger brother you know the one I told you about. He used to love hearing fairy tales and stories, he really did. Me, not so much especially the crumby ones. It bothers me when parents tell their kids these stories with phony characters and phony plots, if you want to know the truth. The characters are always so goddam crumby, they're worst than the actors in movies. They never act like real people, but I guess that's why they're called fairy tales. Anyways, the ... However, the attitudes towards prisoners held by the prison officials could prevent rehabilitation; as the prisoners and prison officials interact on a daily basis, the prison officials hold a position to strongly influence the prisoners. While the focus of the film Porridge is on the prisoners, the focus of this essay shall be on the theories of punishment, which prison officials could fulfil within their own capacities; the attitudes of the prison officials towards prisoners; as well as how the theories of punishment and attitudes can assist or prevent in rehabilitation. Norman Fletcher, a prisoner with a humorous outlook on life and is a typical recidivist, shows little remorse for his wrongdoings that resulted in his imprison; when asked what he was doing time for, he retorts that it was for getting caught (Porridge, 1979). Theories of Punishment Prison Officials Can Fulfil The most popular forms of punishment are the Retributive and Utilitarian theory (also referred to as Consequentialist theory). The retributive theory of punishment advocates that punishment for a crime is done because an offender deserves to be punished for the harms they have inflicted with the crimes they committed. The utilitarian theory of punishment advocates that punishment for a crime is done to discourage crimes from being committed in the future. These theories aim to justify the use for punishment (Carlsmith, 2006, Page 1 and 2). These theories of punishment have empirical evidence behind them to suggest they have the potential to be the best path of punishment to lower crime rates overall; yet both are indeterminate about what should be punished and to what extent it should be punished with (Bilz, 2004, Page 38); neither side can agree whether the severity or certainty of punishment is more effective in deterring crime and if deterrence is in fact the aim of punishment ...
