DIFFERENCES MESOPOTAMIA  TOWN PLANNING • Built around distinct palaces &temples that were dedicated to patron gods/ goddesses. • Most of the people lived in cities & towns. • They had walls to protect their cities. INDUS VALLEY  TOWN PLANNING • They were built to east of citadel. • Towns were planned more systematically & in grid pattern • The people lived in small villages. • They had wall to protect their houses
