18. 18. Benefits for teachers

Improvement in productivity

Easy tracking of students

Analyzing their performance and attendance

Instant Report Generation

As the entire data is online and secure, any analysis can be done at any desired point of time.

 19. 19. E-Learning with Fedena 3.0

The Project currently focuses on an E-learning solution with which the teachers and students can collaborate with each other and undergo knowledge sharing. This way teachers and students can get in touch 24/7

 20. 20. Response for Fedena

Many schools in Asia and Africa are excited about this project and started implementing the same in their schools/institutions/campus

Schools of USA/UK already have proprietary SIS systems. We are getting good reviews about the project. But implementations are very low

 21. 21. Challenge

Customization requirements

The main challenge that we have found while implementing the application in different schools is that, as the mode of working of each school differs, there is a great need for customization.

 22. 22. Possible solution

Since the development framework is Ruby on Rails, the customizations can be integrated in a short span of time. We need contribution from opensource enthusiasts all around the world so that most of the customizations will be available for free download.

 23. 23. Future plans

Fedena 3.0 – E-Learning (2010 December)

Fedena 4.0 – E-Schooling (2012)

Fedena 5.0 – E-University (2013)

Fedena 5.0 is code named as “Taxila” in honour of one of the first universities of world, which was part of Ancient India.
