  2. 2. Integrated Energy is the working title for a Building Physics consultancy providing services to Architects and builders to deliver low energy low impact building without the risk.

Dr Kirk Shanks BEng (Hons), MSc Arch, PhD Frank Cooney B.Arch MRIAI Pat Barry Dip.Arch,Msc,MRIAI,Dip.Proj.Man Archie O’Donnell Dip.Arch,Tech,BSc Reg+Urban Plan Frank Cooney is principle of Cooney Architects. He was Project manager on the pioneering 1992 Green building in Dublins Temple Bar. He recently received a Green Apple award for his passive house approach renovation of an 1830‘s farmhouse. His practice specialises in Education and large scale residential. Dr. Kirk Shanks is the senior researcher in the School of Architecture in the Dublin Institute of Technology, founder of the Research in Sustainable Environments Unit (RiSE) he has been a key mover in creating new research programmes and groups. Pat Barry is an Architect with 20years experience and BREEAM consultant. He has worked extensivly in Northern Ireland with TODD Architects. He is currently an initiator of the Irish Green Building Council and a proponent of whole systems sustainability frameworks for Ireland. Pat designs Passive house projects for multi residence schemes. Archie O‘Donnell is an Architectural consultant advising on cost effective methods of delivering Passive and low energy Buildings. He has air tested houses as low 0.22 and 0.25 air changes for passive houses. He is also a planning consultant secialising in environmental assessment of masterplanning
