This document describes the change of owner process for dock permits associated with real estate on Lake Lanier. This is the current standard for change of ownership as of June 2016. This process is subject to change at any time. However, it provides a good guideline as to what a property owner with a dock permit on Lake Lanier should expect to have to include on an application to put the permit in his or her name.

1. You are receiving this email to begin the change of owner process for the clock permit
associated with a property. Mail to P.O. Box 567 Buford, GA 30515 or reply to this email and
attach the following to initiate the process:
•^opy of the recorded deed of the propeily with permit.
•The most current suivey/plal of the property showing lots, tracts and accepted by
the county.
•Dock drawing of the current dock showing dimensions.
•Site drawing. A basic overview drawing of the private properly and public
pioperly showing the Corps property line.
Exhibit C - Electrical certification if requited on permit signed by a stale licensed
electrician that is certified to work in the marine environment.
Please send everything at one time and do not individually send items, When this
information is received complete, your Area Ranger will schedule a time to inspect the properly
for deficiencies in accordance with the current Shoreline Management Plan and Title 36, Cl'R
327. The new homeowner is not required to be present.
