Materials
•5” x 9” cardstock
•Scissors
•2” x 2” white paper (for
measuring
•Various colors of
peelable sticky paper.
Step 1: Measuring
Before pieces are
attached we need to
make sure they are
measured correctly.

shape to our collage

Step 3: Attaching

and attach to one of the

  2. 2. Materials •5” x 9” cardstock •Scissors •2” x 2” white paper (for measuring •Various colors of peelable sticky paper.
  3. 3. Step 1: Measuring Before pieces are attached we need to make sure they are measured correctly. Using the 2” x 2” white paper place cut out shape on top. If it goes over the edges it is too big.
  4. 4. Measuring Continued If the cut out shape fits inside our white square then it is the right size.
  5. 5. Step 2: Peeling When attaching a new shape to our collage carefully peel white backing from color.
  6. 6. Step 3: Attaching Begin with a rectangle and attach to one of the corners of cardstock.
  7. 7. Attaching Continued Alternate between different shapes, connecting one to the previous. It is ok to overlap a little bit to begin but try to keep to a minimum until later.
  8. 8. Attaching Continued After 8 to 10 shapes have been attached to one side of paper begin on the opposite side with new shapes.
