2. The opening scene’s location is outside, located around the
ocean. The ship which comes to view tells me that we are
around the ocean or sea.
As the ship comes closer and closer to the camera, we catch
a glimpse of a girl. The girl is far away so we cannot see
every detail of her, but still we can see a bit.
The girl is only present in the scene, she is shown wearing
a floaty plain dress that has no pattern. The fact that her
dress is plain could suggest that she is vulnerable and
cannot afford the prettiest dress. Her small face denotes
that she is young. The girl appears to have no-make up on
she is completely natural this connotes that she is naive and
innocent. No-make up also denotes her age, which could be
young.

3. There was a slow-motion movement of the ship when it was moving
forwards. This sort of edit was used to establish a comic effect to
the scene.

4. At the start of the clip, there is a soft focus of the surroundings.
There is just white fog. Slowly, the soft focus begins to fade away.
There is a head-on-shot when the massive ship comes directly
towards the camera; making us the audience feel like we are involved
in the action. Zoom movement was used to zoom into the ship and
the subject inside the ship.
There was also a long shot, this was of the girl who is shown far away
from the camera.

5. There is ambient diegetic sounds present at the start of the clip. We
can hear the sounds of water, the waves and sounds of the massive
ship. These sounds make the clip appear verisimilitude. These
sounds are synchronous and sync with the visuals.
When we get a sight of the girl, we can hear diegetic ambient sounds
of her casually singing.
