How to Install Google Analytics in Google Tag Manager

  1. 1. How to Install the Google Analytics Code in Google Tag Manager
  2. 2. Go to tagmanager.google.com
  3. 3. Login your Gmail account
  4. 4. Enter your password
  5. 5. Choose the container to edit
  6. 6. Add a new tag
  7. 7. Rename the tag as GA Pageview
  8. 8. Choose Google Analytics
  9. 9. Choose Universal Analytics as a Tag Type
  10. 10. Create a New Variable
  11. 11. Choose New Variable
  12. 12. Rename variable as gaProperty
  13. 13. Choose Constant
  14. 14. Enter your GA Tracking ID
  15. 15. Choose Create Variable
  16. 16. Hit Continue Leave the track type as Page View
  17. 17. Choose Fire the Tag on All Pages
  18. 18. Create the Tag
  19. 19. Review your newly created tag GA Pageview, Universal Analytics, All Pages
