  2. 2. Background<br />This is a report on a design task carried out as an assignment in the “Design Thinking” course in the SID program at Laurea. At the first submission, the assignment will provide basis for an inspiration phase in the healthcare and well-being category. The dentistry was picked as a focus for design and this will be the scope of the report. Project is focused on Riyadh- Saudi Arabia as a geographical scope of the design project.<br />

  6. 6. Teens and younger ladies come for cosmetic purposes.
  7. 7. They do a lot of research on dentists and dental services.
  8. 8. They’re the most to exchange impressions and experiences
  9. 9. Due to pregnancy and breastfeeding, they suffer from lack of calcium and they suffer from cavity.
  10. 10. They always have to worry about kids when visiting the dentist.
  11. 11. Mostly would prefer a female doctor</li></ul>40+<br /><ul><li>They do frequent visits
  12. 12. They normally come for denturesand restorations
  13. 13. Normally accompanied by younger family members.</li></ul>Young and Middle-Aged Men<br /><ul><li>Very busy, they keep on postponing.

  15. 15. Once started, they feel enthusiastic and continue.
  16. 16. They normally need filling, removing calculus and rarely root canal .</li></ul>Children<br /><ul><li>May suffer from cavity or the removal of primary teeth.
  17. 17. They are mostly afraid of the dentist and they require special care.
  18. 18. Some clinics do offer special clinics for children.
  19. 19. Even if they don’t need to see a doctor, they’d normally go with one of both parents.
