  4. 4. Climate and Weather <ul><li>In Ireland they have many mountains usually in the West and the South! </li></ul><ul><li>Most of Ireland is grassland. But they do have some lakes too. </li></ul><ul><li>Ireland also tends to have high winds. </li></ul><ul><li>Also temperatures average about 42 degrees farenheit. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Plants and Animals <ul><li>For animals Ireland has a whole BUNCH of them! Like salmon and mackerel. </li></ul><ul><li>Also they have herring, some types of trout and moles too. </li></ul><ul><li>PLUS they have weasels, peat moss and a bunch of grass! </li></ul>
  6. 6. Language <ul><li>The first language the people in Ireland spoke was you guessed it! Irish! </li></ul><ul><li>The second language they spoke is English! Just like us! </li></ul>

  8. 8. Clothes <ul><li>People in Ireland usually wear what we wear! </li></ul><ul><li>Sometimes they wear white tee-shirts and jeans for boys and girls. Or for girls sometimes they wear dresses and skirts! </li></ul><ul><li>And for men suits or tee-shirts. And if you are a bag-pipe player you would wear a kilt! Yep that’s right men wear kilts if they are bag-pipe players! </li></ul><ul><li>And women wear the same thing as girls only a different size! </li></ul>
  9. 9. Food/Eating <ul><li>People in Ireland eat pretty much what we eat. </li></ul><ul><li>Like beef, chicken, bread, fruit, pork, veggies, potatoes, and so on. </li></ul><ul><li>Also in Ireland they drink beer like adults in the U.S.A.! </li></ul>
  10. 10. Houses <ul><li>Ireland’s houses are pretty much just like our houses. </li></ul><ul><li>Some of Ireland’s houses have pretty designs too. </li></ul>
  11. 11. Government <ul><li>In Ireland the first government was in 1922. </li></ul><ul><li>(That’s all I know about their government!) </li></ul>
  12. 12. Landscape/Ocean <ul><li>Ireland lies across the Irish Sea close to Great Britain. </li></ul><ul><li>The Irish Sea is also the Atlantic Ocean! </li></ul>
