An emergency message service which allows a mobile user to send an emergency sms to a server containing geo information and then emergency service provider can see a maps interface to keep track of all such requests received and provide help to user quickly. </li></li></ul><li>Hack Description<br /><ul><li>We are trying to solve the problem of conveying our geo location to an emergency service provider in case of some panic situations like kidnapping, fire, injury etc. and hence receive help from them.

Our audience is a person in panic mode who needs to contact someone but he may be in a compromising situation to send a message easily.</li></li></ul><li>Hack Description<br /><ul><li>Our hack was to develop an application which allowed emergency service providers to update their locations and contact no. at various geographic locations by sending an sms to our server specifying the kind of service they provided, their location and the contact details. Then, a victim/user could send the server an sms requesting of emergency services. Then, our server looked through the available service providers and provided the nearest service provider a location url that provided the location details of the victim to keep track of him to help him.</li></li></ul><li>USE CASES<br />Victim requesting for an emergency service<br />Victim Application Server Service<br />Send an EMS containing geo info and victim’s contact no.<br />Search for<br />service provider<br />Nearest to victim<br />Send victim location <br />tracking urlto nearest service provider<br />Keep track<br />of victim<br />And serve <br />his request<br />Keep sending location <br />Update messages to server <br />At regular intervals<br />Update victimlatest location<br />

  9. 9. Screenshots<br />The nearest emergency service provider who had registered for police service, gets an SMS that a person with mobile 8867579766 is requesting for his service. He gets a tracking URL which shall provide him with the latest geo info shown to him on a map.<br />
