  2. 2. 01 CONCEPT CREATION PURPOSE Create a 3D model of a fly using 3D printer technology. WHY The model will be inserted into a series of frames that will complete a stop-motion entirely realized in digital fabrication, using mainly the laser cut.

Polygonal modeling is considered one of the most creative process to conceive a model in freestyle Autodesk MUDBOX (sculpting software) has been used to design the volume of the head Head To precisely align the different body parts, I used the simple “dowel” fixing system which allows to obtain a secure and stable fastening without the use of adhesives Head
