HOW TO DO THE PROCEDURE
 Connect part of vaporizer as per need base like
child, adult etc.
 Take The Water As Per level prescribed
 Plug the vaporizer in electrical point/switch
 Boil the water till steam produce
 Add the kolangi 5gm, 10gm, 15gm and get vaporize
followed by instruct the patient to inhale the steam
through nostril and mouth
 Allow for 15-30 minutes till the evaporation present.

After care
 Disconnected the electrical point
 Dis-mandle the devices
 Clean the devices with each part (soap and water )
 Wipe or dry it . Keep it in utility room
 Ensure the patient relives the symptom
 Monitor the vital sign and records it( Temp, PR, RR,
BP, Spo2 , oxygen level etc

1. Check the doctors order as per patient vital
parametrs status. Monitor vital parameter as a pre –

2. Get inform consent from patient and attendant
3. Prepare the patient environment
4. Prepare the articles in clean tray with all articles
5. Take prescibed quantity of kolangi in a container
6. Assemble the vaporizer devices and connect the
electrical point Pour the water as per measuring level
7. Boil the water till steam evaporate then add kolangi
keep the patint chest level in front ,use the cardiac
table .
8. Instruct the patient to take inhalation of kolangi
vaporize or steam through mouth and nose
continuously 15-30 mts.
