  1. 1. BAKE OFF CATEGORIES Best in Show: This will be awarded to the best overall entry in the competition. Best Decorated Cake: Cakes will be judged on their creativity and aesthetic appeal. The THE ANNUAL GLCS possibilities are endless! FUNDRAISER Most Inspirational IDAHo Cake: In recocognition of the IDAHo (International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia) on May 17th we are looking for a cake which best celebrates freedom from discrimination. 1:30 PM @ THE COURT HOTEL Best Tasting Vegan Baked Good: Any cake, biscuit, slice of other vegan (free from animal products) sweet baked good. Kindly sponsored by Animal Rights Advocates Inc. CELEBRITY JUDGES Best Tasting Baked Good - Decadent: ENTERTAINMENT Any sweet baked good including cakes, slices, biscuits. CAKE SALES Best Tasting Baked Good- Healthy Choice: PRIZES Any sweet baked good including cakes, slices, biscuits. Entries to this category must include healthy criteria (go to website for details). Best Entry by a Community Group: This category will be judged on the entry which best represents your community group or organisation. Best Decorated Cake - Student Decorator Category: Cakes will be judged purely on decoration, creativity and the Alice In Wonderland theme. Best Decorated Cake - Kids Category: Open to any child under 12. Judged purely on decoration! Professional Cupcake Category: Open to cake companies. Judged on taste & decoration in the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party theme. JUDGES & ENTERTAINMENT This years judges include Network Ten’s Narelda Jacobs, The Court Hotel’s Bree Maddox, Spice Magazine’s Anthony Georgeff along with Proceeds from SWEET go to former Pride patrons Aram Hosie and Mark Reid.
