  6. 6. It is a contest There are winners at these levels: school state regional national
  7. 7. Awards State winners receive $200 and a paid trip to Washington, D.C. to compete at the national level. State winner receives $500 stipend for poetry books. The national winner receives $20,000 and there are other cash prizes for other places.
