  1. 1. • He was born in 570 in a leading family of Mecca. • He is known as the "Holy Prophet" to Muslims, almost all of whom consider him to be the last prophet sent by God to makind. • When he was forty, and retired to the desert, He received the first visit of the angel Gabriel, who brought him a message ordering him to memorize and recite the verses sent by God. • Up to the date ,the muslims profess love and veneration by Muhammad.

  16. 16. One Thousand and One Nigths is a name invented by early Western translators, which is a compilation of folk tales from Sanskrit, Persian, and later Arabian fables. The original concept is derived from a pre-Islamic Persian prototype Hezār Afsān (Thousand Fables) that relied on particular Indian elements. It reached its final form by the 14th.

  19. 19. • Taqiyah is a type of hut used in the mosque in each country it has a different name • Fez is a red hat of cilindric form. It was used in the army. • Now it´s used in Pakistan, India, Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco and various other countries.
  20. 20. HIJAB It refers to a square or rectangular piece of fabric which is folded, placed over the head, and fastened under the chin as a head scarf. KHIMAR A general term for a woman's head and/or face veil. This word is sometimes used to describe a particular style of scarf that drapes over the entire top half of a woman's body, to the waist.
  21. 21. BURQA • This type of veil and body covering conceals all of a woman's body including the eyes, which are covered with a mesh screen. CHADOR • An enveloping cloak worn by women, from the top of the head to the ground.
  22. 22. Not all Muslim women wear hijab. And it is not compulsory in all the Muslim countries. Egyptian TV For some Muslim women, hijab is not oppresion, but a cultural choice.
