Plans, elevations and section were included as an expression of the understanding of the shophouses to explore how spaces are created from the making of architectural elements. Interpret historic architectural element, structure and building 5. Execute fieldwork and hands-on measurement exercise 6. Translate measured data into scaled drawings 7. Produce a report on the buildings highlight its importance and historical significance In a group, we conducted site measurement work to initiate the preliminary conceptual approach of the shophouse design. Then, we produced architectural drawings such as floor plans, elevations, sections, doors and windows details and ornamental details. A shophouse model was made to show the quality of space.
