2. My Heart is where God lives
A very special devotion to God who reigns in my heart..
.. so close to me that I want to share it to those people
who wants God to reign in theirs hearts as well..
3. Introduction
May this simple yet heart-loving devotion fulfill your needs of
God in every way! This made me motivate my love of God to serve
Him well through my very heart. It is the one that pleases Him. A
pure heart is a sweet-smelling sacrifice that we can give. Though He
allows heartaches, none can compare of His love for us.
And for my own opinion, we may be literally came from the
earth’s soil, but I guess we came from the very
pure, altruistic, passionate heart of God. It is an honor for us, His
most precious creation, to make Him live in our hearts starting
today until we see His face..
May this God-breathed devotion touch your very heart! God bless
all of you!
4. Opening Prayer
Heavenly Father, oh glorious name we lift on high! May your
will be done in our lives, may we glorify You in every thing we do
here on earth. May it be a pleasing sacrifice in your throne. Lord
Jesus, before we start this beautiful devotion for You, forgive us on
our sins and shortcomings and cover us with your most Precious
Blood. Lord, as we discover new things from Your word, may the
Holy Spirit provide us great knowledge, wisdom, understanding and
insight fresh from heaven.
I sincerely thank You Lord Jesus for this purely devoted heart
you have given. Without You, I am truly nothing. Consecrate me
always in everything I do. I love you so much! And to all Your
beloved children who will study this, I grant them a new heart of
flesh coming from you. It is You that shall reign in our hearts. To You
I give back all the glory, praises, sweetest thanksgiving IN JESUS’
MIGHTY NAME, AMEN!
5. MESSAGE
• “The word of God is alive and active, sharper than any
double edge sword. It cuts all the way through to where
soul and spirit meets, to where joint and marrows come
together.
It Judges the thoughts and desires of the heart.”
Hebrews 4:12
The word of God targets the heart. God is the only one I
know who can do that. He can melt it even how strong
and cold it can be. He knows every detail of our hearts
and who and what are inside of it.
6. When we receive His word from a friend or from a
stranger, without knowing, it automatically targets the
heart. And if your mind and heart is truly open to His
word, the effect is indefinable. It gives chills and goose
bumps sensing His presence. His words takes place in
our hearts.
And in some special cases, When you love the
people around you (the one who shared the gospel to
you) and yourself, It is easy for God to rest in your
heart for God is love and you have it. (1 John 4:8)
7. • How does it pass through our hearts?
Our heart is like a door. In Revelations 3:20, Jesus
said, “Behold, I stand in the door and knock. If
anyone hears my voice and open it, I will come
in… ”
When we receive the gift of eternal life through
the Lord Jesus Christ, we ask Him to reign in our
hearts. So that we may be like Him. And He
should reign in it always.
8. PROMISES
What does God promise when we decided for
Him to enter in our hearts?
• Our desires will be given to us.
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give the
desires of your hearts.” Psalms 37:4
• If we seek Him, we will find Him.
“But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and
You will find Him if you search Him with all of your
heart and all your soul.” Deuteronomy 4:29
9. • When we are brokenhearted, He is close to us.
“The Lord is near to the broken hearted and
saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalms
34:18
• He will renew our hearts and minds.
“Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a
new spirit within you; And I will remove the heart
of stone from your flesh and give you a new heart
of flesh. ” Ezekiel 36:26
10. COMMANDS
• If we seek Him, many times it was said, If we
seek Him with all our hearts, we will find Him.
It is a command, the very necessity for God to
rest in the most precious part of ourselves.
• “Love the Lord with all your HEART, with all
your MIND, with all your SOUL and with all
your STRENGTH, love your neighbor as you
love yourself.” Luke 10:27
11. WARNING
• If we don’t seek Him through our very hearts,
Even if we call unto Him, He will not know and never
know us.
“Not every one who calls unto me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will
enter the kingdom of heaven, but He who does the will
of the Father who is in heaven will enter. And I will
declare to them, ‘I never knew you: depart from
Me, you who practice lawlessness.’ ” Matthew
7:21, 23
It will bring more sins and wrongdoings in us if we allow
Satan to manage our hearts again.
12. CONCLUSION
• So, always check our hearts if God is inside.
We will know the Lord in our hearts when we
follow His commandments, submit to His will
for us and love one another. If we have
hatred, greed and all kinds of sins resting in
our hearts, love of money and all that
dishonors God, we don’t have His very HEART.
• Always check our HEARTS.
13. Tips and advices
• Every morning, ask God to consecrate our hearts
in everything we will do throughout the day. –RJ
Sabat
• Everything should be done according to our
hearts, but mind over hearts. Even in Love.
But only God should reign in our hearts, before
anything and anyone else. Our very hearts are
the most precious thing we can offer to God. He
looks at it in every way.
14. Closing Prayer
Father, thank You for a great simple devotion you have given,
for me to know You more, know Your heart more, know how You
love me this much. Your love never fails. As you have given your
very own Son because of your unfailing love, let me show you how
much gratitude I have in my heart to serve you, love you above the
rest and reign in the most precious organ you have given us, the
heart.
Lord, give them the right wisdom, knowledge, understanding
and a loving heart and make them be reminded to do all things with
love, to glorify you and exalt you in their every day life.
I ask you to consecrate the hearts of all the people everyday
who have and who will study Your word, make it always You who
reign in it. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray, AMEN.
15. TO GOD BE THE GLORY WHO
REIGNS IN OUR PRECIOUS
HEARTS!
GODBLESS EVERYONE!
