As MBA students, we all have heavy courses and may limit our time innetworking. Since we are learning so much in the classroom, I think our club focusshould be of networking too. Therefore, if I am the president of finance club, I will laydown the ground works to let MBA students have more opportunities to network inthe finance sector. Many classmates show a lot of interest in investment banking and corporate banking. The finance club should also encourage classmates to routes in private equity, realestate, corporate finance other countless opportunities that classmates don’t knowmuch about.Main Points: 1) Understand our MBA classmates’ background. Do a survey to understand which sector in the financial world they try to break in and what skills they have.
2) Hold company presentations from companies from medium size, but less known by others in areas such as investment management, real estate, and private equity. 3) Try to get prominent NUS MBA alumni in the finance industry to come to campus and give advice to our classmates. 4) Work and communicate with the Biz career office to better understand the students’ needs and open more doors for us. 5) Network with targeted financial companies to get them interested in recruiting NUS MBA graduates. My contact :92345495A0089402@email@example.com
