  3. 3.  The demands that the information age impose on our minds is increasing stress levels.  In the Knowledge Economy our minds are our most precious resource.  Learning how to take a break and return to clarity and mental sanity is essential. Finding strategies to develop our resilience and mental health is more important than ever. The practice of Mindfulness is one such increasingly popular strategy

Mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique. 2. “Moment to moment attention with a non-judgmental mind” In a work context the practice consists of taking a period of time out to notice and become aware of the present moment through exercises that focus attention on our bodily sensations, breathing, feelings and thoughts.
