After everyone has had an opportunity to see the recycling train in action, APS staff will host a Q & A discussion during lunch. All we ask is that folks RSVP to make sure we can properly prepare for lunch. Cold In-Place Recycling When roadways begin exhibiting significant failures in the as- phaltic surface and underlying base material, Cold In-Place Recycling (CIR) is often the most cost effective reconstruc- tion method available. CIR allows road owners to recycle 100% of the existing asphalt and a predetermined portion of the base if necessary. By recycling and reusing materials that the owner has already purchased, CIR offers a much more cost effective and environmentally friendly approach toFind us on Facebook: roadway widening and/or reconstruction.APWA.CentralFLBranch RSVP: Please email Bob Siffert, Asphalt Paving Systems @ email@example.com with the date you are in- terested in attending.
