Pedro Berrios, chief executive of National
Emergency Network (RNE), said that the most
important thing for them is that Emergency
Network is recognized within its peers in the
civil protection system as a serious and
responsible organization. And a company like
Litoralpress want to make an alliance with them
is a huge endorsement. He noted that this spirit
of help came on the night of the earthquake of
February 27, 2010, when given the magnitude
of the catastrophe had channels of
communication that did not work. "With
technology systems, communication, perfectly
could have been avoided much of the
consequences that the 27-F"
no funcionaron. “Teniendo sistemas de
tecnología, de comunicación, perfectamente se
podría haber evitado gran parte de las
consecuencias que tuvo el 27-F”.
His aims to provide a channel of
information allowing to be better
prepared for situations of this magnitude,
