  3. 3. Go to All Programs and Open Photo Story for Windows
  4. 4. Begin a New Story and Click NEXT
  5. 5. Import Pictures from your computer
  6. 6. Import Your Pictures <ul><li>You can import up to 300 pictures. </li></ul><ul><li>This is a good place to edit your pictures if you need to. You can crop, rotate, etc. your pictures here. </li></ul><ul><li>*Remember to go ahead and save your project now! To do this click Save Project in the bottom left hand corner. </li></ul><ul><li>This is also a good place to organize your pictures in the order that you would like them in your slideshow. If you have a lot of pictures, it is easier to organize your pictures before importing them. </li></ul>

Click on the square to stop the recording. </li></ul><ul><li>Do this for each slide that you would like to narrate. </li></ul><ul><li>It is helpful to use a headset when recording to block out outside noises. </li></ul>

To Add Background Music <ul><li>Your music must be in a m4a format. </li></ul><ul><li>It is helpful to put all of your music in a folder first so that it is easier to pull from. </li></ul><ul><li>Click on the picture from which you would like the music to start. You can then click on another picture from which to start another song. </li></ul><ul><li>You can click Preview to listen to the music so that you can time the songs accordingly. </li></ul><ul><li>*Don’t forget to save your project again! </li></ul><ul><li>This is a good time to preview your whole slideshow to make sure that it looks exactly like you want it to look. </li></ul>

  17. 17. Saving Your Story <ul><li>Rename your file. </li></ul><ul><li>Choose where you would like to save the file. </li></ul><ul><li>I recommend saving the story for playback on the computer. </li></ul><ul><li>I haven’t had good luck e-mailing the file as it turns out blurry. </li></ul>

  20. 20. You are finished! <ul><li>The story will now be in a Windows Media Player format. </li></ul><ul><li>*Remember to save your final project in case you ever want to go back and make changes. </li></ul>
