 An element which covers +70% of the Earth.
 Water is a liquid form of hydrogen and oxygen
compound H2O.
 We need water to survive and live.
 Our lives depend on water, all what we eat and
drink is formed from it.

3. Sources of Water
Rivers
Oceans
Lakes
Stream
Ponds

4. Fresh water come from:
Some countries like Egypt, Sudan and
South Africa get fresh water from rivers.

5. Water in the UAE comes from:
1- Desalination of sea water.
2- Under ground water.
3- Spring waters like Masafi.
People in the UAE use water in
drinking, planting and all sources of living life.

6. • Some problems such as droughts and water shortages,
and water pollution are the main water problems.

7. • Fresh water shortage, and a
small amount of under ground
water are the main problems of
water shortage in the UAE

8. There are solutions:
• Public control
• Controlling system
• Increasing water conservation
