  2. 2. Sure, AAS Display Gardens get lots of free seed every year, but there’s much more to the program! Before you apply, let’s go over the basics to make sure you’re ready to enter into this partnership.
  3. 3. What is the purpose of an AAS Display Garden? TO GROW AND DISPLAY AAS WINNERS TO EDUCATE VISITORS ON AAS AND THE AAS TRIALING PROCESS TO INTRODUCE TOP PERFORMING GARDEN VARIETIES TO THE PUBLIC
  4. 4. Who can become an AAS Display Garden?
  5. 5. Any garden that is: open to the public and willing to commit to a long-term partnership with AAS eager to prominently display AAS Winners prepared to label all varieties with their name and the AAS Winner logo interested in educating their visitors about AAS and the trialing process ready to communicate with AAS throughout the year and complete a yearly verification
  6. 6. Sound Doable? Here are a few other points to consider:

  8. 8. Zinnia photo Breeders provide AAS with enough free seed to distribute one generous packet per Display Garden. If you want a huge display of one variety, you can purchase additional seed on your own.
  9. 9. Older winners AAS does not breed, or sell, anything. You are welcome to grow AAS Winners from previous years, but AAS does not provide them to you. Again, you are free to purchase these varieties yourself.

What does an AAS Display Garden get? • A weather-proof AAS Display Garden sign • 5 years of AAS Winner seed (current year winners, plus the 4 previous years) • Young plants of the perennial and vegetative AAS Winners • AAS variety markers • The monthly newsletter, “Display Garden Dialogue”
