AAS Display Garden
(Much more than just free seed!)
Sure, AAS Display Gardens get lots
of free seed every year, but there’s
much more to the program!
Before you apply, let’s go over the basics to make sure
you’re ready to enter into this partnership.
What is the purpose of an
AAS Display Garden?
TO GROW AND DISPLAY
TO EDUCATE VISITORS ON
AAS AND THE AAS
TO INTRODUCE TOP
VARIETIES TO THE PUBLIC
open to the public and willing to commit to a
long-term partnership with AAS
eager to prominently display AAS Winners
prepared to label all varieties with their name
and the AAS Winner logo
interested in educating their visitors about AAS
and the trialing process
ready to communicate with AAS throughout
the year and complete a yearly verification
Here are a few other points to consider:
Each year you will receive 5 years worth of winner seed, you are not required to
plant ALL of it, but we hope you can plant MOST of it. Do you have the space
and the resources available for the space and upkeep?
Breeders provide AAS with enough free seed to distribute one generous packet
per Display Garden. If you want a huge display of one variety, you can
purchase additional seed on your own.
AAS does not breed, or sell, anything. You are welcome to grow AAS Winners
from previous years, but AAS does not provide them to you. Again, you are
free to purchase these varieties yourself.
