some debate shit about women being leaders 2
1. WOMEN MAKE BETTER LEADERS THAN MEN – GOVERNMENT
Thank you, Ms. Speaker. Ms. speaker of the House, therespected panel of judges, theever-precise
timekeeper, my worthyopponents, ladies and gentlemen, members of the parliament, goodmorning to
all. The motion of the debate today is “women make better leaders than men”. We, the government,
firmly and whole-heartedly believe in today’s motion and we will prove to you beyond doubt on this
issue.
As the Deputy Prime Minister, it would be my duty to continue the battle by refuting all the
misunderstood facts put forward by the opposition team and convinced you that women make better
leaders than men, I repeat, better leaders than men.
The government team, ladies andgentlemen, has made all of hereconfuse by telling us that science is
not a threat to humanity because (state 1st
point and brief elaboration)
Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to point out their flaws. (refer to counterpoints)
Therefore, ladies and gentlemen, bear with us and after this I am convinced you will agree that women
make better leaders than men.
Now let me proceed with our secondargument which is“women have a more complete and wider
vision”. As the first speaker of the government bench has stated, women are often discriminated,
especially when it comes to the political scene. Woman still hold lower position in business, the legal
profession and in the world of politics. It is therefore hard to argue that the glass ceiling has
disintegrated. Until women hold higher positions in these fields the feminist cause has still not achieved
its goals- in seeking to create a world where, amongst other things women can advance up the ladder in
their career without being blocked by a glass ceiling and held back in lower positions. However, plenty of
other women fare well in the public eye. Earlier this year, a Gallup poll showed that Hillary Clinton‘s
approval ratings are higher than ever at 66%. Of course this may be because, as Gallup says, the
secretary of state position that she occupies “is somewhat above the fray of partisan politics.” But the
fact remains: she’s doing a great job. Ladies and gentlemen, women generally set a clearer and wider
vision. When they vision, they will turn it into a reality.
