The Swiss-based startup Fennex has developed an app that transforms wireless Apple headphones into a smart hearing aid. The app has been downloaded more than 30,000 times since it was launched in mid-May. The number of downloads are doubling month over month, and the company now generates 700 daily downloads, 75 per cent of which are from the U.S.
The app is listed in the top 150 apps in the Health & Fitness category of the App Store. The startup closed two financing rounds for a total of 800,000 Swiss francs.
