According to the CERT C/C++ Coding Standard for Secure Coding in C/C++, all code pointers must be protected in any C/C++ based software. The CERT reported that it did not find any commercial technology that can protect code pointers effectively and efficiently. Zesu core technology includes Zeus_F that protects function pointers & Zeus_R that protects return address pointers. Zeus_F is fully developed and tested, and is protected by 1 issued US patent and 2 issued Korean patents. Commercial level GNU-GCC complier addition is ready, and LLVM complier addition is under development. Zeus_R, which implements commercially practical technique for the dynamic re-encryption of code pointers, is fully developed and tested, and is going to be protected by at least two US patents.
