Transaction and criminal attorney Alexei Schacht received
his J.D. from SUNY Buffalo Law School. He prepared for
SUNY Buffalo Law School by obtaining a B.A. in political
science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
3. The SUNY Buffalo Law School
Founded in 1887, SUNY Buffalo Law School is part of the
University of Buffalo, and is the only law school in the
SUNY school system. The school allows students to pursue
a Ph.D. or master’s degree, as well. For students who have
a law degree from another country and want practice law in
the United States, the LL.M. program can help them make
