  2. 2. Asthma is a long term lung disease, that inflames and narrows the airways.Asthma causes chest tightness, shortness of breath, and coughing, and wheezing.
  3. 3. Asthma is hereditary or you are born with asthma
  4. 4. -Substances that cause allergies-Irritants in the air-Respiratory infections-Bad Weather-Expressing strong emotions
  5. 5. When your allergies act up, you and all this stuff happens to you then, yourthroat gets swollen up, then it makes it hard to breathe.
  6. 6. *It affects the respiratory system by making it hard to breathe.* it also affects the immune system. The immune system helps you fightoff germs. But asthma can cause your immune system to be over reactiveto something that is harmless to someone without asthma.
  7. 7. There are severe cases of asthma and non severe cases. But asthma is incurable butthere is medications that can slow it down. Inhalers having air inside them that give youair when your having an attack.
