2. MY GOAL
SMART Goal
Specific- Lose 8 pounds. I will go to the gym on campus every
Wednesday Thursday and Sunday afternoons and either walk on the
treadmill or use the stationary bike for an hour.
Measurable- I will time myself while doing this to fulfill the hour, and also
walk with my sister so we motivate each other.
Attainable- i do have trouble sleeping sometimes at night so exercising
during the day should help me be more tired for bed. plus doing it with my
sister will make me feel obligated to go so i will actually achieve what I set
out to do.
Realistic- There is a gym on campus and i already walk everyday so it
wont be something I dread.
Timely- I hope to accomplish this goal by the end of this semester.
The reason I chose this goal is that I wanted to be a healthier person, and not get winded
every time I walk upstairs to get to class.
The steps to accomplish my goal are going to be to follow through with my own plan, and
not get lazy. Hopefully find someone who will go to the gym with me to keep me
motivated. Also I will try not to snack every night after 10pm with my roommates, its that
food that’s ruining me

Also my poor eating habits may

6. RESULTS CONTINUED
I did not meet my goal of losing 8lbs. However I lost
5 lbs, which I am very happy about.
I also feel much better than before, and am actually
sleeping better at night from being mentally and
physically exhausted.
My eating habits still need to improve more, but are
far better than before.
I know longer breath running up the stairs to make
it to class on time.
I plan to continue with this, and reach my goal, and
hopefully pass it.
