the rear seat backrests and the front
passenger backrest can simply be
folded down fl at.

6. BMW CONNECTED DRIVE AND EQUIPMENT HIGHLIGHTS.
ADJUSTABLE REAR SEAT.
You have the option of moving the rear seat forward or back so that either the
rear passengers can sit comfortably or the capacity of the luggage compartment
can be increased to up to litres. In addition, the angle of the rear seat backrest
can also be adjusted to three positions. Whenever more luggage space is required,
the rear seat backrests can be folded down from the luggage compartment
using the remote electronic rear backrest release (through-loading system
with a :: split comes as standard). This creates , litres of additional
luggage space.
CONTACTLESS OPENING OF THE TAILGATE.
Contactless opening of the tailgate is part of the Comfort Access system.
A quick, directed wave of the foot under the rear bumper triggers a sensor
that opens or closes the tailgate. You need to carry the remote control (car
key) with you for the Comfort Acess System to work.
FULL-COLOUR BMW HEAD-UP DISPLAY.*
The full-colour BMW Head-Up Display projects relevant driving information
directly into the driver's line of vision, allowing them to fully concentrate
on driving. Information is displayed on a retractable, tinted panel to ensure
effective ergonomics. The display is diffi cult to view when wearing polarised
sunglasses. The full-colour Head-Up Display is only available in conjunction
with optional Navigation Plus.

Thanks to BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, the new-generation BMW
petrol and diesel engines facilitate a markedly more agile power delivery and
outstanding responsiveness even at low rpms, while being exceptionally fuel
effi cient and low in emissions.
BMW xDrive.
The intelligent BMW xDrive four-wheel drive system adapts perfectly to even
the most challenging road surface conditions, while providing outstanding
traction at all times. xDrive and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) enhance
directional stability and help to keep you on track. Responding in a fraction
of a second, xDrive distributes the drive power fl exibly between the two axles
for optimum grip. This allows xDrive to combine the advantages of a four-wheel
drive – traction, directional stability and safety – with typical BMW agility.
