What Factors can Contribute toYouths being Placed in Foster Care?- Child being removed from the parentalhome due to :• - Abuse• - Loss of parents (death)• - Poverty• - Incarceration - a parents incarceration in prison or jail.• - Abandonment -parents have dropped the child at the sitters and neverreturned
