  2. 2. Our students sing Christmas carols at school Christmas is the most loved festivity for Italian people. The streets are lighted with coloured lamps, lights and Christmas trees. Every house is decorated. Children write letters to Christmas father and ask for love, peace and presents. Before Christmas holidays students generally play Christmas carols at schools.   3. 3. Our students sing Christmas carols at school Families decorate the Christmas tree and make cribs in cellars, churches and houses using old and typical Neapolitan fashion statues. Our students sing Christmas carols at school Families together with friends and relatives play traditional games: the “tombola”, a kind of Neapolitan bingo, the “sette e mezzo”, “scala quaranta”, “mercante in fiera”. Our students sing Christmas carols at school On Christmas Eve in the evening families and relatives eat traditional food such as fish, “baccalà”, “capitone”, “murena”, “grongo”, spaghetti with sea fruit and shrimps or scampi, octopussy salad, frieid sqeeds and baked shrimps. Pizza with a kind of salad and cakes, “struffoli”, “mustacciuoli”, rococo, “susamielli”, “panettone”. On the Christmas day at lunch people generally eat cannelloni, lasagna, meat, chicken.
