  3. 3. The role of Education in Facing Globalization and the Challengesof the Twenty-First Century and the Reinforcement of Civilized Identity and the Belonging to the Nation. Abstract This research aims to throw light on the challenges which hinder education in the Arab nation and how to face these challenges, on the top of which is the cultural obliteration and foreign domination under the new globalization and the domination of the only polar on world cultures sand how to challenge it through the reinforcement of the civilization identity and national belonging for the national identity is considered a basic resource for the philosophy of society which takes its foundations from it, and this philosophy is the resource of current educational theories to develop education with its different forms and stages , and the establishment of developed new curricula , and benefiting from the data of moderns technology and multi educational technology in preparing teachers and their continuous rehabilitation and training ,and the reinforcement of essential values and positive attitudes in themselves ,taking advantage from the experiment of Syrian Arab country in this field to develop education and preparation of teachers in faculties of education ,and the modernization of educational curricula . The research ends with the assurance of the fundamental civilized Arab identity and a call for facing the different challenges and the reinforcement of national belonging to the sons of Arab nation through: - Rejecting the foreign cultural domination ,and reinforcing the Arab cultural identity by supporting the Arabic language, reinforcing its position ,and the activation of national development. - Developing instructional curricula to cope with the new world civilization. - Preparing and training teachers to face the different forms of challenges, to instill the Arab values and the democratic spirit in themselves and students selves and representing it as real behavior in their daily lives to achieve the supreme aims for the Arab education. -Using modern and developed educational technology to serve the nation message equipped with science and knowledge through
  4. 4. electronic communication nets and developed computers in theage of education ,culture, and cognitive explosion.Finally ,a focus should be on future education , and emphasis oncivilized identity for Arab nation, developing it, and keeping itsessence nationally and humanly since it is the source of creativityand interaction with the different world cultures.
