  2. 2. What is Youth Department? <ul><li>The Youth Department is a group of eleven Episcopalian youth who are elected at EYC Convention by the youth of the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama. They serve one year terms. During the year, they plan and organize four different youth events. </li></ul>

  13. 13. <ul><li>Happening in Alabama </li></ul><ul><li>What : Happening is a spiritual retreat for youth grades 10-12. </li></ul><ul><li>“ Only someone who has been through </li></ul><ul><li>Happening can fully understand the extent </li></ul><ul><li>of the complicated emotion that is evoked </li></ul><ul><li>by this weekend.   17. 17. Fall Fling, New Beginnings, and Winter Weekend “ I love the community and the people who go. Also, I feel really connected to God and stronger spiritually after these events.” -Elise Nelson -Nativity, Huntsville

I love the fact that when I come to these events, no matter the length, I feel so much closer to people.
