  5. 5. Why create this resource?~3,000 students were enrolled in either FRINQ orSINQ courses fall term.~80 PSU faculty members—from departmentsacross the campus—taught FRINQ or SINQ courses.
  6. 6. Who will benefit?Faculty Provide strong models for innovative, engaging assignments and activities to both existing and incoming faculty. Encourage faculty to create processes for scaffolding assignments through providing clear examples. Lessen the burden on individual faculty, who benefit from ideas and input from their colleagues, and increase communication and collaboration between facultyStudents Generate further conversation around the connection between assignments and student learning. Create further cohesion in UNST courses across both themes and levels (FRINQ and SINQ). Help communicate the UNST goals and UNST outcomes for writing.
