  • Commissioning is an essential step in the construction process. If the commissioning agent discovers flaws in the design or construction before the owner accepts the building, the design and construction trades bear the burden of correcting the flaws. However, if the discovery happens afterward, the owner inherits the costs and liabilities.
  • With ARCHIBUS Commissioning, you will have your contactors submit your required standard documentation - in your specified electronic formatIn the event of an emergency having readily available documentation -- for you and your team – is going to be critical. For example, if the boiler explosion occurred at YOUR manufacturing plant … You need know:… when was boiler commissioned? who is service contractor? … date last serviced?… where are the Standard Operating Procedures, and Emergency Operating Procedures for YOUR equipment.
  • ARCHIBUS Commissioning minimize risk and liability for Building Owners, by requiring all commissioning documentation has been submitted, verified and approved prior to project close-out.Capital Budgeting Project Managers need to allocate resources to multiple projects and evaluation of funding requests from multiple project managers on a daily basis. In order to manage multiple projects, in multiple stages of construction, Capital Budgeting Project Managers need to a single project status summary console that prepares to answer the continuous question asked? … How are we doing? At the click of a button, you have access to information you need to answer that question.
  • Give early feedback. ARCHIBUS' live Web Services connect data transparently to give commissioning agents early visibility into the building-information model (BIM)-- even in the design-development stage when changes can be made inexpensively. Eliminate errors. ARCHIBUS enforces validation according to your BIM Execution Plan -- data entry errors don't need to be corrected, as they never occur. Accurately capture operational data. ARCHIBUS coordinates shop drawings, maintenance manuals, and preventive maintenance procedures -- right over the Web, directly from the subcontractors. Flag missing submissions. Dashboards color code hundreds of documentation submissions so you can tell at a glance which are still missing or not yet approved. Speed field verification. With automatically-generated field-verification checklists, your field-service personnel simply verify -- rather than re-enter -- the correct information and meter readings.Speed occupancy. Having your documentation, space inventory, and maintenance data and processes in structured electronic form let you begin managing the building with this information on day 1.
  • ARCHIBUS Commissioning provides Solutions to YOUR Problems Our application: Captures ALL building data in one central repository. Provides structured web reporting. … to quickly find the data you need. … Every piece of data is searchable over the web, or mobile tablet device. Pulls BIM space and equipment data into or from ARCHIBUS.ARCHIBUS enterprise graphics let you view your BIM data … without installation of AutoCAD, Revit or Navisworks.
  • Duringthe Planning stage, the Project Manager defines commissioning requirements as part of delivery process. The Program Development Study provides adequate consideration for commissioning scope, budget and schedule.  The Owner’s Project Requirements are developed in concert with the Building Occupants. These requirements establish the benchmarks for performance later in the commissioning process.
  • Project Close-Out ensures ALL required submissions are Submitted, Verified, and Approved.Remember, AFTER Discovery the Owner inherits costs and liabilities. Dashboards color code hundreds of documentation submissions so you can tell at a glance which are still missing or not yet approved. … Red means incomplete submissions, Green means Verified and Approved. To review:::: Contractor submits, design professional reviews & verifies and the Owner has to sign off that it has been approved.
  • ARCHIBUS Commissioning provides quick access to the information we need. Here we are taking a look at a complete Asset Life Cycle Details: Equipment Standards, Floor Plans , Life Cycle Analysis ,Commissioning Documentation , Warranty and Insurance , Financials  This is where you go to get the Insurance information for your Boiler.
  • This Equipment by Department Report is focused on asset inventory metrics for: Years Life Expectancy, and In-Service Date, … on the fly we calculate: Equipment Age (yrs) , and Remaining Useful Life (yrs) We can drill-down and sort this equipment list by oldest Equipment on top. We can see there is a group of Air Handlers that are older than their Life Expectancy based on industry standard. With this level of reporting you can quickly get a handle on the condition of YOUR facility.
  • Unlike a lot of other Commissioning packages available for Commissioning Agents and Contactors offering information in isolated data silos, ARCHIBUS is the ONLY solution designed to protect the portfolio project manager and building owner.ARCHIBUS Commissioning application Integrates Into Workplace Management: Capital Project Management: Capital Budgeting, Project Management, Condition AssessmentReal Estate Portfolio Management: Portfolio Management, Lease Administration, Cost Administration, Cost Chargeback & Invoicing, US Federal Property Registry, Portfolio ForecastingSpace: Space Inventory & Performance, Personnel & Occupancy, Space Chargeback, … Enterprise Move ManagementBuilding Operations: On-Demand, Preventive Maintenance, Service Level Agreements, … Asset ManagementEnvironmental & Risk Mitigation: Emergency Preparedness, Environmental Health & Safety, Material Safety Data Sheets, Energy Management, Environmental Sustainability Assessment, Green Building, Waste Management, Clean Building. This lifecycle flow diagram illustrates the power of the ARCHIBUS Commissioning documentation  … as it is collected during the planning / design/ construction phases; … and, used throughout the Integrated Workplace Management processes. Commissioning is part of the Capital Project Management domain. It integrates with: Space Inventory & Occupancy to enhancing planning capabilities;Building Ops and Asset Tracking functionality can be seamlessly applied to commissioned equipment inventory;Environmental apps benefit from a reliable baselineprovided from Commissioning.ARCHIBUS is a fully integrated solution.
  • The CFO asks you to find space for a new and urgent project. You can’t find any space that isn’t already accounted for, yet when you look out over the floor, all you see are empty cubicles. Why is that?Today’s mobile workforce challenges traditional workspace planning and creates opportunities to grow your business without significant spending on new space. With features like Workspace Transactions, ARCHIBUS accounts for all complex, time-based workspace changes and gives space planners and managers the tools they need to support space-related directives with confidence.
  • Back on the Space Planning Console, the space manager can do all of this. By selecting a future date, you can see how the space profile looks after requested changes. Here, by highlighting the rooms by department and their borders by occupancy, you can see opportunities for improved efficiency: the departments look fairly well co-located, but there are vacant and available rooms right next to those that are over-capacity. If you mouse-over any room, you can see more room details, including who occupies them and how they may be shared. Finally, right-mouse clicking gives you options to make changes, either directly to rooms or to the requests that affect them, making it easy to take immediate action as needed.
  • ARCHIBUS Space Planning & Management allows you to quickly identify any anomalies or negative trends in major space metrics. For example, in this report you can see that one site has a declining occupancy rate over the past couple of years. That same site has comparatively a large number of seats, so the occupancy issue is on a bigger scale. And, to exacerbate the issue, the average area per seat is quite large compared to other sites, indicating overall a lot of unused space. This clearly shows an issue of under-performing space.
  • The space planner may then want to drill into that site to see specific details or trends, such as the trend of department areas that make up that site. Here you can see right away that one department’s area has been declining, contributing to vacant space and the declining occupancy rate. From here you are armed to make recommendations: release the un-utilized space from that department, or re-purpose it for other use.
  • Not only can an environmentally-friendly building provide a healthy environment for employees and the sSurrounding community, it can also improve efficiency and reduce costs. Environmental Sustainability is about providing an environmentally-friendly building that improves the balance between people & facilities.
  • Green Building refers to the high priority goal for many organizations of going “green”. Whether going green is driven by internal or external regulatory mandates, tax or other financial incentives, or a desire to improve environmental stewardship a major goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions & their resulting carbon footprint.
  • The market place of the design & construction of high performance buildings is dynamic and evolving.
  • emergencies—whether due to natural disasters such as blizzards, tornadoes, earthquakes, fires & floods, or man-made situations such as chemical spills, burst pipes, or gas leaks—require
  • Most countries have developed regulations concerning healthy workplaces, & organizations need to be in compliance with government regulations in order to minimize fines & risk.
  • A MSDS can be a paper or electronic document that provides information about the properties of a hazardous material & contains vital information for safe handling & emergency response for each substance.
  • such as:maintenance/custodialSpace planning - floor plansGeographic information system (GIS)Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)emergency response & preparedness compliance
  • Good Environmental Health & Safety prevents accidents, reports unsafe conditions, & protects the environment
